Much as I wanted DC to have the fairytale "going out on top" ending, I figured Stipe would win. Sad for DC, but hat's off to Stipe.

And Marlon Vera cost me a Bonanza, Dammit!

 

Stipe vs Cormier 3 was one of those fights where almost any outcome - doctor stoppage excluded - would have been fine with me. I'm surprised it didn't end with a finish, but it was probably the most satisfying five-round fight since Weili vs Joanna. Dana's really getting behind Stipe vs Ngannou next, so we should anticipate in 2021 either a historic heavyweight performance (from Stipe) or a terrifying new champion.

I wonder who Rozenstruik will fight next. If Werdum was higher in the rankings that would've been a fight to look forward to, but he'll probably end up fighting Blaydes.

 

And yet, some idiot people want Dana to book Stipe against Jones. *facepalm*
