    They have chartered a special German engineering train to switch out rails and sleepers on the mainline to Stockholm. It's really needed since the quality of the railway to Stockholm has really just gone down in the last 20-30 years, finally time for some maintenance.

    @DarthTunick might have his helicopter chases, we have a woman who was wanted by the police and tried to get away by swimming down a river when they were coming for her. (she was caught, despite a man helping her by trying to steal a boat)

    School is starting this week, and one of the main stories is about pupils from one of the small village primary schools that are now old enough that they have to start secondary school in town instead.

    The school system is generally divided in year 1-3, 4-6 and 7-9, then it's upper secondary. In my town at least 1-6 is usually in one place, but then the pupils move to larger schools for 7-9. And since I work with these small village schools, they have very few pupils in each class, sometimes as few as 3-4.

    Very locally it was announced they were going to have the annual charity Duck Race (which my family has been involved with for I get over this forty years now) is going to be virtually along with the ALS Walk of Life which we done before. State wise they are rolling out the saliva COVID-19 testing thanks to the University of Illinois. Already broke a record two days in a row for most tests completed in twenty four hours and the state health dept. says to expect the number of tests completed in a day to double over the next several weeks. That might be the first good news about COVID-19 we had in a long time!
