Social Whatcha doing during quarantine??

Got most of my work for this week done, sent off an invoice for last week's work so should be getting some money soon.

Apart from that; same old, same old. Trying to get as far through Orphan Black Season 4 today, finish the Heir to the Jedi book, maybe play some games.

 

I sent an email to the university to tell them I've opted out of attending this semester. Maybe next year.

But it's a whole 'nother year! And I can't even go out to get any power converters...

 

What are you studying?

 

@BRE It's a professional pilot's BSc program, called Pilot Technology. They've already credited me for a bunch of previous schooling and military experience and private pilot training. They can train me for instrument flying, commercial license, and flight instructor ratings, and the GI Bill will pay most of it. But I'm choosing not to start until covid is under control and I don't have to deal with the hassle of all the pandemic policies they'll be implementing this year.

 

That's really cool, piloting is like nothing else, I imagine. Not sure if this is a stupid question, does that mean you've piloted both airplanes and helicopters (or is that what your commercial license etc will allow you to do, if you've only done one of them before)?

 

Helicopter is a whole different kind of flying altogether. I've ridden in them a couple of times, never piloted one, doubt I'll ever learn it. They cost even more to fly than airplanes.

 

RO is my second fave after Empire.
The novelization and the graphic novel are also both excellent.

I just got Catalyst off the shelf to finish reading, as I got sidetracked awhile ago. It's a good prequel to Rogue One imo.

 

Surprising, I'd have thought it would be the other way around. I'd love to ride in a helicopter, might look into how much it would be.
