Agreed. Personally, I think a lot of the “Mary sue” blowback has to do with expectations of her objectives being similar to Luke’s when they are actually the reverse of Luke’s in a significant way. While Luke wanted to gain skill in order to fulfill his place in the galaxy, Rey wanted to find her place in the galaxy in order to employ her skills.

Ben Solo/Kylo Ren is just as mutch fun to watch as Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader.

I way prefer the Sequel Trilogy over the Legends post Endor continuity which is just.....bad....it got so bad.

My hope for Kylo Ren/Ben Solo’s salvation in Ep 9 *was* unpopular before the movie came out, but people seem to be cool with his actual salvation after it came out.

Anakin being arrogant and overconfident is actually pretty fun to watch.

Agreed. His transfomration in EPII-III is actually epic, and Oscar worthy IMHO. He conveys entitlement, overconfidence, obsession, conflict (within), and so much more. Hayden did not deserve the hate he got, he really shows us a range of emotions and behaviors that lead to Vader. I say this as I did back when I saw AOTC and ROTS in theaters, and even more so since rewatching The Prequels.

While I love the OT and really enjoy the ST, the PT is my SW, I grew up with those movies, seeing them in theaters, buying the toys, training in lightsaber forms (I even had my own lightsaber training school with my pals), and so much more.

I really dislike the Old Republic MMO especially after knowing what KOTOR 3 was going for

I have to disagree respectfully, the MMO gave me my favorite Sith, Darth Marr.

That scene and the opening of ROTS.

“This is where the fun begins.”

“General Grievous, you’re shorter than I expected.”

Darth Revan is overatted. And he stays a sith lord, no redemption until Anakin Skywalker.

"No loose wire jokes. He's trying."

*an entire ship splits in half, turns around slowly* "We lost something."

Arrogant Anakin is much more fun to watch than awkward Anakin. (I know it's the point but still)

Eh, I found Luke to be awkward (not in a romantic sense, but socially) in ANH. I think having multifaceted personalities when your telling a story about people is important. If Anakin was happy go lucky all the time, I think his fall would be questionable. Its the reason why measuring Luke's ANH self to his ROTJ self is so much fun because we can see the growth the character goes through. Same with AOTC to ROTS Anakin.

I wouldn't say Luke was socially awkward in ANH; maybe a fish out of water at times, but very approachable, probably mores so than any other character.

On the subject of ''Anakin's best moments", I like when he pretends to be hurt and Padmé goes to him all concerned, and then he just rolls over and laughs.

Well according to The Old Republic he remained a Grey Jedi (Revan Novel) despite being declared Jedi Prodigal, and he split in two spirotually, a Darth side of him fled to haunt and Revan went mad trying to revive the Sith Emperor Vitiate.

I was a Revanite, but my devotio had faded. I am now a Marrnite, as in Darth Marr.

So glad there's no such as thing as grey jedi and glad they stopped Trewerrow from making it a thing.

For me, TOR was a huge disappointment .

I expected to play Kotor 3, but I got discount Kotor:

    1.Much less dialogue options.
2.Lots of different classes which made the story for jedi characters feel thin.
3.Lots of big areas and running sections.
4.Combat that was inferior compare to Kotor games.
5.They made the story chronologically few hundred years after Kotor 1 & 2.
6.Side quests and quests lacked variety.(They were just go there, collect something or kill someone.)
7.The MMO aspect damaged the story. You are searching the ruined and abandoned Jedi temple and yet you see lots of players there that are just running around.

On the plus side, the only thing of that game that I really enjoyed were the CGI cutscenes.

We may see Grey Jedi in the High Republic series.
