Solo Favorite Scene in Solo

I was over the moon for the Kessel Run initially after watching it, and although I love its whiz bang kinetics, there's no doubt it's largely the latest incarnation of the asteroid field chase to a certain extent, even using some of the same music cues.

My new favorite scene in the film is the Vandor conveyex heist. Nicely structured, cleanly choreographed, strong emotional beats, an explosive ending, and a resonant aftermath that sets up Han for the life he'll be living for the rest of his life.

 

I love that too, and think it may be my favorite. Both very tense, and really funny. Hard to pull something like that off. I liken it to the firecracker scene in Boogie Nights, for those who’ve seen it...

 

Definitely Han meeting Chewie.

Chewie just happens to be my all time fave character and to see how this epic relationship started was just awesome. A saga defining moment for me!

I love to see how the visual effects are made in this kind of movies.

 

Solo really had some of the most exciting action scenes in all of SW. Howard gets it in a way JJ and Rian doesn't, their action doesn't work for me.

 

Rogue One and Solo, to me, seem light years ahead of the ST when it comes to action scenes (and a lot of other types of scenes too...).

 

I love it when Lando says "I hate you" and Han replies "I know" in a way reminiscent of his exchange with Leia before being put into carbon freeze.

 

I like the scene that shows Han unselfishly leave Chewie to fight on behalf of his fellow Wookiees. He clearly understands how important it is to him. Great character development that will continue into the OT.

 

Got to be the heist, cinematographically it was above much of previous Star Wars - so much tension and just fun-loving action going on.

Darth Maul cameo and all Dryden Vos scenes are special mentions.

 

My favourite scene is when Han meets Chewie for the first time, honourable mentions must go to the scenes between Han and Lando especially the Sabbac scenes and I also liked the Darth Maul cameo but they are only a small selection of the scenes that I like

 

I really enjoy the Vandor heist.

Love the scene where Han Chewie and Tobias walk into the party on the First Light.

The Falcon escaping the TIEs and the Maw.

All the scenes on the Falcon.

 

The walking into the party on Dryden’s ship is my favorite scene. Mostly due to the singer and her bossa nova alien partner in the floating jar.

 

His whole body is in that jar, not just his head. Some Solo superfan you are...jeez.

That said, I agree. Though he deserves a whole trilogy, not just a one-off.

 

This for me... all of the best scenes in this movie take place on the Falcon, IMO.

 

got to be Han meeting chewie in the mud and everything on Mimbian.

 

Possibly Chewbacca’s best movie in the franchise.

 

I enjoy a lot the sequence of Han flying in Falcon for the first time and Hans kill your mentor, showed the sad lesson that he learned in movie of not trusted in anyone, that created the Hans that we will see in A New Hope. The movie it's not bad, but I think that was lukewarm for a movie that Hans and Chew know each other for the first time, lacks of emotion, I think that it's bc of trouble production.
