Saw this making the rounds earlier and thought it might belong here.

"I know we did the legal, moral, ethical thing that night."

No remorse, real or faked, for killing an unarmed, sleeping woman. And jackbooted bullies like him wonder why they are called thugs and murderers.

I'd say some more, but I'd rather not risk the wrath of a Mod.

The guy with the gun feared for his life against the guy or girl who almost certainly had no weapons

I hope you never have to experience the terror caused by two people asleep in their bed.

It's interesting that making a mistake during a stressful time is something that police shouldn't face punishment for, but it seems everyone else does. Does he think that Kenneth Walker shouldn't have been charged with anything because that was just a mistake during a stressful time? Henry Magee, Ray Rosas, Cory Maye, Marvin Guy? Somehow I don't think he backs all of them for what they did during stressful times.

Let's see what the grand jury decision today is.
I personally don't have a lot of hope.

Meanwhile a girl in my state is subject to 15 years in jail for leading a BLM protest and having no responsibility for the violence of a few of its members. (Tianna Arata)

the wanton endangerment charges (class D felony, $15K bail) are supposedly for firing into neighboring apartments.

essentially nothing, for murdering an innocent woman. disgraceful.

I mean, it's sort of like getting Capone on tax evasion but up to 15 years in prison... that's a start.

CNN was showing a whole lot of people walking somewhere before they cut to a press conference. The walkers looked peaceful so far.

Looks like there's a gathering of some kind in Louisville - CNN have it up on a split screen with the press conference. So far people are just standing around. (Not familiar with the city so I can't tell you where it is there).

Edit - group is now on the move up what looks like a main street.

The lesson with George Floyd and Breonna Taylor is that police officers are only held accountable for murder if people burn **** down.

I’m guessing the judge and the cops vote Republican.

It's always impressive to me that you can get a grand jury to indict a ham sandwich, but not the whole pig

This. I would not be at all happy if I were one of those people in Louisville right now. They deserve to be super pissed. Especially her family. No amount of money is as good as justice, and this ain't it.

Plenty of democrats have absolute **** views regarding policing, and a lot of these places where police injustice happens is in democratic run cities.

Dude, it is saying that the bullets that went into walls were more important than the bullets that went into a person.

    It's a insult

Of course it's an insult. It's supposed to be an insult. That's how white supremacy works. I'm just saying I'm amazed this guy could go to prison at all.
