As I keep reading them, it occurs to me this tweeting thing might actually catch on.

 

I dare say this season may just be won and lost in conference play.

 

In case you looked at the thread in the brief window where I accidentally posted before actually putting the scores in, they are up now and the library thread is also updated.

 

I don't know about college math, but my head math says the maximum is 5 (predicted top five finish in bottom five and vice versa).

 

I thought 5 could be the answer...but we all know my track record on math. I thought throwing that tidbit out there might get our resident logical thinking expert to sound off.

For being on top of standings and scenarios, I thought the Pit deserved that win.

 

It's the only win those degenerates deserve.

A couple end-of-regular-season cleanup notes:

• If you would like to participate in the 300 ELL Draft, please let me know via PM by Saturday, November 14. (This isn't hard and fast, but it's appreciated to know sooner rather than later.) In that PM, provide three draftees. It helps me if you format them in the following way:
  • Name (Species [for Humans if you feel it's important to call out a particular background like Hapan, do so in brackets like so], Sex, Position {general positions like "Forward" or "Half Back" are allowed to give more flexibility in where someone can fit in a roster}, University {or junior limmie team or high school})
  • It's not the end of the world if I have to reformat them...it just goes faster.
• Season award nominations are due Wednesday, November 11. This one I will need to stand firm on to give time for actual voting. Expect the ballot on Thursday, November 12. Award voting will close Sunday, November 15 with winners announced the following week via headline.
  • As a reminder, this season awards are available to limmie players at any level: ELL, SkimmerAde, college, high school, little league. Wherever you feel there's a worthy nominee!
  • Awards are:
    • Salbukk Award (Player most valuable to his or her team)
    • Gark S'rily Award (Best head coach and/or general manager)
    • Martin Vigo Award (For sportsmanship, dedication to limmie, or inspiring actions)

Weird question time: did anyone get bounced out of the awards ballot survey before finishing? I ask only because there are 6 votes (thanks everyone!) for the Salbukk and S'rily Awards, but only 5 for the Vigo Award. Where's Quinn Cundertol when you need him to get to the bottom of this?
