    Do you recall what he said in that speech? He used that mandated speech to gaslight the American people. And she ripped it up because it was full of lies. In so doing she stole his thunder and so what people did not take away is the lies he spewed as truth- instead all they remember is she tore it up and why. Far more dangerous would have been to allow those lies to remain unchallenged. That dramatic moment accomplished her goal- she challenged his lies through that action.

    That is not the forum to do that. The oppostion party gets to rebut the Presidents speech almost immediately after in a press conference. That is when you rebut.

    It’s her House. It’s absolutely up to her to do that. Keep in mind how he treated her when she came to the White House.

    If someone came to your house, took a dump in your front yard and humiliated you in front of your co-workers, would you take a stand?

    She got through in the most effective way. Because he doesn’t respond any other way. He always loses when people punch back. And she had his number from day one. She was the only one who intimidated him.
