Double post and all, yeah yeah, but the first expansion for Territory War is up! Talked about these earlier in the thread and the first is now available and is intended for character enrichment. Feel free to type up a response to these to flesh out your character's Yakuza tats! You are also welcome to PM ya boy for combos, looking over, etc.

I am announcing my leave from the boards and closing of The Yakuza: Territory War. I had a great deal of fun running this game with you all and I thank you all for your time that you put into this. I will tag everyone who participated in the game and also happens to be a GM (if not, the GMs will be notified via. PM)

Well, I was really looking forward to the game reaching the 100 post mark ( and continuing ), but DRL always has the final word. c'est la vie

I'm going to start off this post with an apology. In my time in the RPF, I have developed the reputation of being quite an unreliable player and GM. This has caused many of you to have wasted time creating plans/participating in games I am in and/or run. I am very sorry for this, It's unfair to every one of you and I have to full intention of breaking this habit and reputation.

With that said, I would love to continue The Yakuza with you guys. I put a lot of creative energy and effort into this, and have pages upon pages of plans written for this game. It was a mistake closing it, but that was more to do with above. If you do not wish to continue, I fully understand and would possibly do the same and be wary of me. But once again, I do not want to disappoint any of you ever again and truly want to stop being an unreliable player/GM.

To those of you who would like to pick up their characters from The Yakuza and continue where we left off let me know and we can either reopen the old thread or start a new revamped version picking up from where we left off.

Well as your brother I know you have the potential, and can speak to the fact you have lots planned for this game. (Not that I know any of it lol) I'm willing to give it another go as Hiroto Hattori.

Lol I mean this was my first RP on the boards...so it has a special place in my heart. Wanna see it get finished little bro! *cracks whip*

 

Quick recap:

Essentially, Zaraki, Hideki, and Ozunu are still looking for Iwata Bunjiro, the man who supposedly makes fake IDs and is the one who got the hit on Akiyama. Yuriko has unwillingly been swept up in this mess and is currently witnessing what is going. Hiroto has just entered a Hada-run gambling joint on the outskirts of Hiroshima in the hopes of finding some muscle for his crew so he can go and sweep up the treasured gaijin weapons.

Hoping to wrap up the inn scene fairly soon.

 

I said this in the main thread but gonna put it here too. The original artwork I used for Hiroto Hattori I've come to...dislike. Too old and mature for the actually character.

I got Vo's permission to find a different thing of artwork and here we are.

I won’t be making. A post before my training event, but I will be joining the game upon my return! Until then, I leave Hideki in the capable hands of my compatriots and the GM to use and maneuver however they see fit...

Except Elu! Because he’d try to kill him! Lol

Unfortunately, Shadowsun has informed me he will have to leave the game due to time restraints. I hope he will join us again in the future.

Ironically, the only probable good thing about the Lockdown was all the free time we had to post and enjoy the RPF Golden Summer of 2020. Here's hoping 2021 is kinder to everyone.
