Vaush has spent his career defending the validity and rights of trans people. He has had many live debates with TERFs and right wingers, and equipped his audience with the tools to address every transphobic position out there (including "it's a mental illness"). And much of his audience is trans and as Left as it gets.

I realize some here believe that posting his videos is cringe, but he's uploaded at least a couple where he acknowledges past mistakes, such as the edgy jokes. Please search for that in the interest of fairness.

 

No I have seen the video where he goes over all of his past mistakes or all the times he was cancelled. You can change I agree. But man his take on trans people in the stream I watched was bad.

I don't remember who it is here that gets mega upset when I say that Liberals aren't Leftists and all, but here's a good video (that just came out this week!) explaining how Liberalism is different from Socialism, that SocDems and DemSocs aren't the same thing, etc.

I don’t think people scoff at the idea that they are different. Monophysite are also very different from Miaphysites.

It’s simply that, in both cases, the differences have no real world meaning or relevance in the present day given people’s actual living conditions and the attendant political realities, so they tend not to care.

Recently found out about Dr. Fatima. Her latest video is about colonialism in relation to the Thirty Metre Telescope (something I knew literally nothing about beforehand) as well as Palestine. If you've got the three hours (average video essay length amirite) I highly recommend it with the caveat that there's a good chance you'll be sad and/or depressed when you've finished it.
