I’ll point out that the looney toons with MJ beat the Monstars, who were like ten feet tall and had the stolen abilities of the best basketball players in the world.

Admittedly this is a different game, but if they can beat those guys, they can figure out a way to get around Coulsons squad on the diamond.

Loki is a shapeshifter and the green lanterns weakness is the color yellow. He’ll just magic on some yellow clothes and it will be all over.

i just really don't think babe or ned flanders would do great at joyce byers' house. they'd both be like hiddley ho time to skiddly skedaddle. whereas the log lady would be right at home and most likely decipher all the mysteries surrounding such a strange location. plus she has training from bambaata on how to hit things with her log.

yes i should have made this argument sooner.

A few points here. Looney Tunes nearly lost. It came to a last minute play and Bill Murray to save them. No Bill Murray this time. And while MJ is amazing at basketball, he was notoriously bad at baseball. And breaking physics? What do you call quaking and running? Not to mention a robot with Coulson. Plus, two scientists who break the laws every week with the stuff they come up with.

Loki is not prepared so he has no idea of GL’s weakness and even then, Hal was shown to be able to overcome it. So that’s not good enough when Loki died from simple strangulation. It’s established he can die in normal ways. Hulk hurt him. He was wounded in Thor 2, so nothing here proves he’d survive an attack from Hal.

And why are we just assuming Furiosa takes out Zoidberg? He actually did clip off Fry’s arm at one point so that is a legitimate thing that could happen here.

One more piece. As I recall, the last shot was MJ breaking physics because they were in looney tunes world. What that established was that any character could do so. So pointing out that I have two of the biggest brains on Coulson’ s team as well as four incredibly athletic and powerful agents, just imagine what they could do. Keep in mind they have been to space, traveled through time, died and come back to life and most importantly lived in a simulation. My point is that this is not exactly the type of thing that would even phase them.

Sorry, but Zack Morris is trash. But, he's trash with the ability to do time manipulation trash, so I guess I'll go with the trio.

@DarthIntegral Loki fought in the last round, and while having him fight again would be pretty good news for me, I think there may have been a mix up.

    Genos vs. Drunk Superman

Genos seems like the kinda kid who would grow up idolizing/wanting to emulate Superman, only for this drunk version to totally blow him off, which would prompt him to blow up and waste all his energy while Supes just cranks a beer on the couch like a Kryptonian Lonnie Byers.

Then Genos would angrily slam the door to listen to "Should I Stay or Should I Go" before running away to forget his sad hero interaction.

Roland vs. Scoob & Bill Nye (PREP)

Roland by his own admission is "not very good in thinking around corners" and now is...literally in a house full of actual corners, against an animated dog and a science whiz armed to the gills with metaphorical corners.

Remember it was Sam's Club Bill Nye in Stranger Things who helped the kids understand dimensional gates-- now we're talking Prime Nye with time to plan & manipulate the Upside Down in his favor. He might actually ride in on a Demogorgon.

...but all he really has to do is convince Scoob that Roland's fingers are sausages, which will quickly get bitten off and prevent any gunfire.

    Ignatius vs. Spike

Spike Spiegel is basically Anime Space John Wick and I don't see a guy with that comp losing to someone described in the forward of their own source material as "fat Don Quixote."

kermit the frog is prepared. this means he brought the teeth that he bought from grover. there is absolutely nothing more terrifying.

as for the other battle, jessica's wits and survival instincts suggest to me that she would quickly concede the battle in exchange for the protection of two summer glaus against the hordes of the upside-down.

You think “fat don Quixote” is a negative? All the powers of regular don quixote but with a bonus adjective. Unstoppable to be honest.

Drunk Superman will remove himself from the battlefield to go find alcohol or look for Clark Kent. That’s an auto forfeit.

Scooby is a coward. Bringing in the demogorgon is punching yourself in the face. Anyway the Excalibur gun could kill it. That’s basically what it does.

Also re: eating his hands, that’s fine. As you know, Roland does not shoot with his hands. He who shoots with his hand has forgotten the face of his father.

Absolutely a negative facing Animated Keanu Reeves.

    He’s a slob.

He’s like if World of Warcraft Guy was a literary character.

He’s basically the fictionalized version of that old JCer who went to Afghanistan. That might get me banned but don’t even lie that made you smile, search your feelings you know it to be true

Scoob has fought alongside The Undertaker. You’re getting banned with me for this libel.

He is for sure a repulsive oaf. So repulsive that Spike, a cool guy with redeeming qualities, will not be able to stand his very presence. Think of that guy. Imagine having an argument--no, just a discussion--with him. You would not be able to stay in the same room as him for more than a minute. His aura of malignancy is too potent. Just being around him would cause Spike to lose several cool points, something with which I do not think he is willing to part.

Watch at your own risk. Ignatius is extremely powerful.

Spike isn't losing to Less Quotable Dennis Nedry b/c of "cool points."

He (like Keanu, like John Wick) isn't preoccupied with seeming "cool." He just wants to chill and eat a good lunch.

Which means, after letting him pontificate, he'll calmly shoot this Human Snorlax/Meowth Hybrid in the head...

...and then bounce down to Scoops Ahoy at the Hawkins Starcourt Mall.

In fact, there's a nonzero chance the gluttonous Jabba the Hutt Understudy actually stops there first pre-match and insults the staff, in which case STEVE & ROBIN are joining Spike for the fight!

A list of feats of Ignatius J. Reilly:
    • He is 4 workers in one:
“He was four workers in one. In Mr. Reilly’s competent hands, the filing seemed to disappear.”
    • He is as pure as the driven snow:
“Once in high school someone had shown him a pornographic photograph, and he had collapsed against a water cooler, injuring his ear.”
    • Has no peers:
“I mingle with my peers or no one, and since I have no peers, I mingle with no one.”
    • manages to survive in a century he loathes:
"Employers sense in me a denial of their values.' He rolled over onto his back. 'They fear me. I suspect that they can see that I am forced to function in a century I loathe. This was true even when I worked for the New Orleans Public Library.”
    • Is a writer, and knows how to make cheese dip:
“I am at the moment writing a lengthy indictment against our century. When my brain begins to reel from my literary labors, I make an occasional cheese dip.”
    • Has gone to school for a long time:
“You could tell by the way he talked, though, that he had gone to school a long time. That was probably what was wrong with him.”
    • As I mentioned earlier, he lives in misery due to the 20th century, but this is a virtue:
“I refuse to "look up." Optimism nauseates me. It is perverse. Since man's fall, his proper position in the universe has been one of misery.”
    • Has a god-like mind:
“Stop!' I cried imploringly to my god-like mind.”
    • He is a respecter of Batman:
-“I suspect that beneath your offensively and vulgarly effeminate façade there may be a soul of sorts. Have you read widely in Boethius?"
-"Who? Oh, heavens no. I never even read newspapers."
-"Then you must begin a reading program immediately so that you may understand the crises of our age," Ignatius said solemnly. "Begin with the late Romans, including Boethius, of course. Then you should dip rather extensively into early Medieval. You may skip the Renaissance and the Enlightenment. That is mostly dangerous propaganda. Now that I think of it, you had better skip the Romantics and the Victorians, too. For the contemporary period, you should study some selected comic books."
      -"You're fantastic."
-"I recommend Batman especially, for he tends to transcend the abysmal society in which he's found himself. His morality is rather rigid, also. I rather respect Batman.”
If you still think Spike wins, then “I really don't have the time to discuss the errors of your value judgements".
