The Mandalorian Boba Fett in The Mandalorian & Spinoffs (Spoilers)

John campea isn't really attention seeking like that. I have watched his videos over the years and he isn't exactly someone throwing out scoops every month.

 

But when he thinks he has something, he drags out the tease for ages. A bad, attention-seeking habit. And then he’s been wrong. The Snoke/ Plagueis thing was the big misfire, but not the only one. Point is, he’s massively unreliable. That said, the Slave I seems likely to appear, so it could be true. But Campea may simply be guessing. He strikes me as not the sharpest tool in the shed, overall. I think he jumps the gun when he hears something, and doesn’t corroborate with a couple other reliable sources. Taking a journalism 101 course might help him.

 

And now, unfortunately, KRT are in the same category.

 

When series 1 was on, Campea did say he heard something about the show but didn't wanna say what it was. after the show's final finished he said that he heard from someone close to the production that Boba Fett was in series 1 but admitted Boba clearly wasn't in it so said what he heard was probably wrong.

But then evidence from series 2 suggests maybe he was in Series 1 at the end of episode 5. so its possibly Campea heard right.

So while its clear alot of these people who say stuff could be wrong. i really don't think the decent ones are self-sabotaging to their own online careers. especially when its a career they want to go on for years and don't need to create drama.

 

Just like most people could say with good certainty that the mystery dude from season 1 was hinting at boba Fett and guess what it was

So it looks like what John Campea said last week may have been right.

I guess we'll see what happens...

 

I wonder if Boba Fett will appear again in this season, and if he does will it be an appearance of substance or just cameos to set up his own series?

 

Um, I own Slave One and I never flew it to LA for filming. So I have no idea what John Campea is talking about.

 

I consider Boba Fett a Mandolorian, even though he is a clone.

Jango = foundling. He fought in the Civil War that preceded the New Mandalorians assuming power. That implies that what happened with Jaster Mareel and the original Death Watch is canon, part of the canon Mandalorian Civil War that has been hinted at since TCW

Boba is back in the armour, he's got a new female sidekick and seems to be a pretty honourable guy when he wants to be.

I'd say those Boba Fett spinoff rumours are starting to look pretty credible (in my eyes at least)

 

Loving The Mandalorian(s)

 

I've been hearing for years that Boba Fett should never be brought back. How he was nothing other than a cool costume, and that's all he could ever be. Forever an empty shell.

I've been arguing for years that not bringing Boba Fett back and allowing for some characterization would be a real disservice. A genuine wasted opportunity.

I can officially state myself as a Boba fan after that episode. I liked his character a bit more after TCW but I still didn’t care for him, but his return has been done brilliantly and he was actually the badass he’s always been hyped up to be

 

He’s no good to m̶̷̷̶̷̶̶̷̷̶̷̷̶̷̷̶̷e̶̷̷̶̷̶̶̷̷̶̷̷̶̷̷̶̷ them dead.

 

No, I get it. And I mean, you're not wrong. Disney expects to see the best ROI they can, so it's no real surprise they'd bring someone like Fett back and put him to use.

But I've got no time to be cynical right now. I'm far too pleased with the results.
