Look at her! You can just see her running around dressed in black, wielding a light saber and fighting storm troopers alongside Mando or Sebastian Stan. She starred in a television show called Poldark, but is more unknown than a lot of other actresses, which actually works in her favour. Most young STAR WARS leads were basically unknown or only had a few notable roles under their belt before they got their parts. And they completely emulated their characters. Just have to get the word out there.

Saoirse Ronan. I believe she was up for the role of Rey at one point.

 

Really? I missed that somehow. What a shame. She would have been infinitely more compelling than Daisy, in my view.

Sylvia Hoeks - I never heard of her before Blade Runner 2049, but she nailed the role. Scene-stealer even as a relative newcomer.
Anya Taylor-Joy - Might become overexposed considering the success of Queen's Gambit and the purported Furiosa prequel, but I've loved her since The Witch and every appearance since then.

Simon Woods - Impressed by his range between cold, calculating Octavian in HBO Rome and dopey Bingley in Pride & Prejudice.
Edward Norton - His role in Kingdom in Heaven remains one of the best performances behind a mask imo.

I'd love to see William Shatner as a pompous post-war admiral who can't stop talking about the good old days, who always has a highly exaggerated war story to force on his subordinates that somehow always ends with him about to sleep with an alien woman before he abruptly ends the story with a "But you don't need to hear about all that" and a wink.

 

Gal Gadot in Rogue Squadron. She'd make a wonderful Twi'lek fighter pilot. Preferably purple, please.
