Great ranking! I was curious why Jet is on the very bottom; usually, fans reserve that honor for Great Divide

Honestly I just hated Jet so much in the episode, and that’s the only reason. It’s still a good episode, in how it deals with ‘how far is too far’. Plus Sokka is a stand out with how he figured everything out well before everyone else. I don’t think the gang questioned his instincts much after that. And I loved the setting in the tree tops.

The Great Divide I quite enjoy too, even if it is a bit cheesy and silly at times. It still has a good message about ‘not judging a group of people by their nation’s history’.

I agree about Jet. Maybe I'm biased because he was portrayed as an alpha male, but I didn't really root for him in the Ba Sing Se episode.

It was a good episode and brought out the best in Sokka especially.

If we're talking book one, I'd put The Winter Solstice at about the top.

Let's be honest, Jet is also cheesy and silly, and extremely predictable. The character didn't gain nuance until Book 2.

Korra Ep 1. Lol, I just love Aang's grandchildren. I was told about Republic City, that it's a land of technology in this fantasy world.

    S2 ep14

After losing to Vaatu Krra is told to not bend the elements but the spirit in herself.

"Then you'll see it is not the spoon that bends, it is only yourself."

The animation style in season two is so damn cool, especially in the final episodes.

She rebuilt an entire country, okay? People always want to talk about "her debt to society" but what about society's debt to her?

You're right. People should be down on their knees thanking her for imprisoning them all and destroying their cities.

All those people sent to re-education camps sure will be pleased to know she built trains.

Well this new combustion bender is not as powerful as the other guy. Her blast is like a grenade where his was like a tank shell going off.

    Venom of the Red Lotus.

One gripe. Ok Zaheer is powerful. But the battle between Korra and Zaheer should have been cut in half because after awhile it's just her throwing thing after thing at him and he doges, and dodges, and dodges, and dodges.

Otherwise it's great. On to season 4.

Do you guys think if the Netflix series goes well we could get Meghan Markle to play Kuvira?

I didn't bring this army here to threaten you.

    *1 minute later*

You leave me no choice, join the empire or I will take the city by force.

Ok so yeah I got the moments here and there but it didn't feel like they would put Korra and Asami together, and then they did right at the very end. Bravo.

One thing a bit frustrating in Korra was a wizard story issue. When a character gets powerful they have to be brought down if the author decides they can't or do not wish to present them above and beyond everyone. I hated watching her lose that first fight to Kuvira. Zahn did this via yslarmi. In Order of the Stick(if you have not read this you should) V could have a spell that will fix many moments so he or she must be occasionally separated from the group. I recall someone telling me Luke was like this in post-ROTJ EU, and so he sometimes showed up much like the recent Mandalorian episode to save everyone. So here Korra must be kept back so the enemy threats are difficult and she doesn't just Avatar her way out.

Anyway, I don't know the series well enough off the top of my head to list them but the visuals throughout were simply amazing and the 25 story Kuvira mech exploding in half made me yell, "Cool!"

I suppose I liked the Aang series a bit more that Korra but not by much. But the whole series was fantastic.

Looks like there's a tabletop RPG in the works:

What do you have against her voice actress? Maybe Zelda Williams would like to play a live action Kuvira?
