Yeah, I've been wanting a fighter squadron movie for ages. Looks like Santa thought I was a good boy this year.

Qi’ra talks about “Teras Kasi”. The game isn’t canonized, but the technique is. The novel Darth Maul: Shadow Hunter mentions Maul using Teras Kasi, so I guess they were implying that Qi’ra learned it from Maul.

 

Either:

A Jon Favreau directed/written film with Dave Filoni fixing the Sequel Trilogy. Basically a Star Wars version of Days of Future Past using World Between Worlds.

Or

A KOTOR/Old Republic era film and/or trilogy

 

Or Filoni and Faveru connects to the sequel trilogy and make them better for other people.

 

The George Lucas Visionary Trilogy is the only thing that comes to my mind that is of any real interest to me for the movies.

Other than that on the whole the streaming series already announced and the future ones, be that some of the rumored ones or as yet unknown, seem to be the best place to tell stories.

As much as it would have been nice to have an Obi-Wan movie it sounds like the long-form version is going to be far more in-depth.

The one drawback for a streaming series compared to theatrical is that movies have potential to do what Lucas did so well. To create amazing worlds and environments that are beyond what lower budgeted and more time impacted productions can do.

Unfortunately the movies they've done show they have no particular interest in doing so. It's few and far between to find something on the Lucas level of imagination.

 

10 things I would like to see covered in their chronological order (not necessarily the order to be released approached and some of these would be better suited for TV):

Pre Skywalker Saga:
1. How species learned to interact with each other prior to/shortly after hyperspace travel.
2. A delve into the origins of hyperspace travel.
3. Jedi/Sith origins and if there was force usage prior to these religions.
4. Formation of the first Galactic Republic and the sure political strife that was ongoing at that time and it's eventual fall.
5. Jedi/Mandalorian War (This seems like a logical thing to announce after The Mandalorian has wrapped up).
6. Rise of the Modern Republic with some High Republic stuff in there
7. Exploration of Yoda's species

Post Skywalker Saga:
8. Exploration of the Unknown regions.
9. Introduction of a species/planet of people who are more adept at the force than Jedi/Sith
10. Time Elements/World Between Worlds exploration

Order of how I would like to see these topics begin to be covered: 4, 5, 8, 3, 10, 9, 6. 1/2 could be anytime after 4 and before 3. 7 could be after 4 or 5 but is admittedly the weakest thing on my list.

 

Was there a Jedi mandoliran war they have to adapt that at some point that would be super cool to see I could see that almost being like attack on titan. adding that to my list of movie trilogies / films I would want after Jedi origin movie.

 

In-universe documentaries about the geological and paleontological history of the planets (for example, how Tatooine became a desert).

Hondo Ohnaka: A Star Wars Story

Now, wouldn't that be cool. I know this Idea isn't original, but I was just saying, I was rolling on the floor, laughing when I watched the hondo ohnaka episodes in the clone wars and rebels. If they made a whole film/ disney episode series based on him... well, I'm afraid my stomach will not do its job after I would finish watching.

 

TIE Fighter: The Empire Strikes Back Again

 

The war between the Jedi and the Mandalorians is something I would love to see on the big screen. Done as a trilogy.

 

An animated Jar Jar Binks movie. Something in the vein of a Goofy movie.

 

Now, bud. Jar Jar Binks is good in the way of comic relief, but a whole movie on him won't be that great. He's just a gungan, born where most of his species were born, who worked his way into the republic senate. he made some high standing friends, sure, but there isn't much to him. Also, after the backlash he faced, I don't think there'll be any movies on him anytime soon.

 

Mesa has another movie idea. Wassa about a movie on zee 'Night of a thousand tears', which is referenced in 'the mandalorian'
And maybe a movie on the emperors 'contingency plan'.
