Is Kyrie being traded to the state mental hospital in this transaction?

I need a documentary crew in that lockerroom covering Harden-Irving conversations.

Correct. The details of the trade were worked out on Brooklyn's behalf by Danny Ainge.

Congrats to Houston for getting rid of a headache. Who knows, maybe one or two of those Nets picks will be good if they implode or if KD/Kyrie/Harden leave. Three unstable players.

I wonder if picking up Allen means they have a deal to dump Andre.

    Big laughs.

Thing is, I've been seeing a ton of Pistons articles which are just the "this is fine" meme, so I could believe one of them would honestly write this.

I wonder if the Sixers decided to keep Simmons. Because surely if he was still involved the Rockets would have preferred him?

I was wondering the same. Simmons was available if you believe the reports. Maybe the Nets were willing to give more picks and the Rockets preferred picks over Simmons and are going to tear it down and tank.

    They wanted Simmons.
    And Thybulle.
    And Maxey.
    And picks.
And they can go to hell.

I feel like the Nets will get one title before they implode.

Edit: Actually I didn't realize they traded Jarrett Allen away, if they face the Lakers in the Finals, they're not going to be able to stop Anthony Davis.

Wow, three games postponed tonight. They will plow through, because they didn't even make the 2nd half of the schedule just for this reason.

After the Lindor deal, an LA LeBron vs. NY Kyrie Finals (feat. KD!) is exactly what I'd expect as the ying to a Browns playoff win yang

    @anakinfansince1983 did you see this?

What a monstrous dunk. He’s not great, but Bridges has given you a lot of highlights.

Hornets have the makings of a very entertaining team.

Remains to be seen if that translates into a good / winning team, but Bridges and LaMelo have been fun to watch this year.

Cavs-Wizards on both Sunday and Monday have been cancelled, due to COVID-19 running rampant through the Wizards, as well as the Wizards-Suns game tonight. There have been five Wizards who have tested positive, which means they are without those players for at least fourteen days.

Short-term, probably good for Cleveland to have the days off. They are beaten up and missing key players right now due to injury, and some time to get healthy and integrate the new players from the trade is good. But, if they are going to get 72 games in, they have to be made up somewhere, which means schedule congestion at some point is coming.

On top of that, the Cavs just made a huge mistake: they waived Thon Maker.

    He'll have his revenge.

Dame and CJ are cursed to climb the mountain alone, for all time. Instead of a boulder pushing them back down, they're tied to their teammates, who die and fall down the mountain, dragging Dame and CJ with them. I'm thinking Stallone-like, like a combination of Rocky IV's Siberian training and Cliffhanger, except perseverance does not overcome.
