Great point. The Acolyte will venture into the darkness and keep us guessing I suspect, as the dark side is known to do.

 

A Pau’an darksider in the Acolyte would be cool. Always thought that aesthetically they’re a good design

 

What is a Pau’an?

 

They’re the gaunt looking aliens on Utapau from ROTS

 

There is a dark sider Pau’an in Rebels, The Grand Inquisitor:

 

Looks nothing like Carol Dekker, the OG Pau'an.

 

Doesn't look like china in his hand either...

 

Yeah, and we also had Desolous in Legends.

He looks epic, Nosferatu as a Sith.

 

He's from The force unleashed, where Starkiller fights a simulation of him.

Yep, as i remember it was a level only acessible on some consoles.

That is cool, but i imagine they'll go for something less armored.

 

Perhaps this could be a final design when she has ascended to great power? Kinda like Darth Bane who ended up with armor later.

I just watched Headland's Russian Doll on Netflix. It's built on a familiar narrative construct (Groundhog Day), but eventually gives way to some unique trajectories. I sure hope those pining for a Star Wars multiverse don't latch on to it. Nevertheless, I'm now more curious than ever.

 

Recent developments in other franchises are probably make the SW version even less likely -- and it was pretty unlikely to begin with.

 

I hope this piece of music by John Williams perfectly sums up the tone of the show.
