Funko Pop: Star Wars

Well I guess it's a no for Babu then - I don't need/have room for those enormous pops. The only way that I'd get those if they were female characters. Or maybe Luke w/ Grogu....

 

Yeah, it would have to be a really amazing figure and/or a character I cared a lot about for me to buy it, and even then, it’s pretty unlikely I’d buy it because I don’t have the room for it. Chewie would probably be the most likely for me to buy it, and even then, I don’t know that I could bring myself to do it.

Now that you’ve spoken Luke with Grogu into existence, though, I definitely need them to make that Funko (in standard size, none of this 10-inch crap )! I’d definitely buy that.

BTW there's a pregnant Wanda Pop that they also premiered - no reason they can't do ROTS Padme pops now.

 

Oh I'm sure they're coming. Maybe around the time of Kenobi. With Hayden already confirmed, and Natalie working with Disney for Thor again, I'd be shocked in Padme isn't in kenobi. I can see them having flashbacks to RotS/Clone Wars stuff, or even a "what if anakin didn't turn to the dark side" type dream sequence.

We'll get all kinds of prequel pops around then.

 

Hot Topic has the ROS pops for pre-order. I put the 2 Rey's and Ben on order. Also ordered Grogu in his pram keychain and the 2 Jabba's palace pins.

Oh, I hadn't even let myself think of POPS yet from the Kenobi show...cannot wait.

Ugh annoyed how quickly the hunter amazon exclusive sold out. He's one character I'm going to collect a LOT for. Not often I have a character have the same name as me lol.

Yep, both are Iden. The normal exclusive is her without her helmet, and the chase is 1 out of every 6 with her helmet.

 

Cool. I'd prefer the helmetless one. There's already the Inferno Squad Black Series figure that may or may not be Iden that I haven't bothered with. If they came out with her in the Rebel uniform it'd an instant purchase from me.

Yeah I ordered one hoping to not get the chase actually lol. Same reason I passed on the Inferno squad member earlier too. I want Janina on my shelf, not generic trooper. Rebel Iden would be cool too. With how they've done Revan, I could see a gaming greats box featuring Iden's other look down the line too. Or as a celebration pop. I'm just glad they're finally making some of their other product lines into merchandise with the game characters. Now we need more book/comic characters. (and more Clone wars but that could just be me.)

 

I have a decent collection of Funko Pops overall; but only a handful of SW-based Pops. I have three Ahsokas (including the latest Gamestop exclusive one where she's wearing the coveralls garb from the early episodes of Season 7), Hera, and the 2019 Galactic Convention Exclusive Gold Princess Leia.
