I wish! I couldn't post anything in quarantine because I had no access to any electronics and my phone was dead (and the only person who could have brought me a charger would have been my wife)

 

I'm off quarantine now, so it's all good for now.

And because she's pregnant, she's naturally immuno-compromised and couldn't come into the quarantine wing of the hospital anyway. For fear of harm to the baby, of course.

And a charger isn't worth risking health over anyway.

 

That is where a dead drop transfer comes in handy right a delivery service. Wife leaves charger in a bag, person paid or unpaid delivery to quarantine wing who delivers to RN supervisor who passes to your RN who delivers to your room.

Of course if you know a medical person most of this steps can be skipped, that’s something that would probably take me a few hours to organize and approve the moving parts. Whereas if involved at my own hospital I would just be able to waltz in, do a phone call, and be done in ten or twenty minutes.

 

COVID SUCKS.

Blargh, just got over the vaccine. Hopefully it keeps getting longer projections for efficacy, and hopefully that 95% protection works - that or else the constant microdosing of nearly every disease that my work provides works as a natural immune booster

 

Our work is saying the same thing: those government benefits have ended for COVID related illnesses. You're on your own. It sucks, but its reality.
