The Hawks were a delight last night. They dominated a team they should have and Trae was amazing, the 3rd quarter is his quarter lately. He had 43 points last night and he was pulled a little early since the Hawks were so far ahead. I do have to mention that I hope Karl A. Towns is back soon and basketball can be therapeutic for all he's been through. Also when was the last time the Wizards played a game? I asked my google smart speaker last night and she didn't know. Made me laugh out loud.
Jan 11th, holy h*** that was a long time ago [/SPOILER/]

I just saw that Capela got credit for a Shawn Bradley class triple double. 13 points, 19 rebounds, 10 blocks. Cool achievement for him, it's his first.

This is after 27 and 26 against the Pistons. We really could have used Andre that night.

21 of his 46-points scored in the 4th; Lakers remain undefeated on the road!

I was watching, he couldn't miss. Then he got his third foul and I went to bed at halftime and the Knicks lost. Oh well.

Very sad @Juliet316 I just saw that in my news feed :(

My thoughts on AD's free throw "performance", Tobias Harris, and the Lakers road winning streak coming to a halt in Philly last night:

My 7yr old son watches at least a quarter of NBA basketball with me every night. This is why I had kids, to share my interests with them. We've been having a blast together. When a player gets a foul, my son yells "he cheated." When a ball hits the rim he'll say "so close." Sometimes when our team takes the lead he'll say "Go my team, go." This has been a great week for me and my son, doesn't matter if our team wins or not, just spending time together, so cliché but so true.

It was the top 2 teams and there was only a 1 point difference. As an NBA fan I am sad about the streak ending but, yeah, Tobias going all Hoop Dreams with 2 seconds left was great for me but Tommy Lasorda VS the Phanatic for an LA fan.

I was surprised we were able to close it out. After LeBron started off the game hitting threes, I thought it was going to be a blowout. Ellington has been a great pickup, I'm glad to have him back. He and Blake have a good connection on handoffs. Blake even hit a sidestep three, which I thought I would never see from him again. I'm looking forward to all the idiotic Pistons fan articles about how Blake is back.

Cavs-Knicks were at 19-17 after the first quarter yesterday. For a moment, it was like I'd stepped in a time warp, it was the mid-nineties and Mike Fratello and Jeff Van Gundy were managing.

Hopefully, those two teams are more entertaining when they meet in the play-in tournament

Whoever thought the Knicks would even be good enough for a play-in tournament? It's still way too early to say, but a full month in and you just almost mentioned the Knicks and the play-offs in the same sentence.

I'm too lazy to go back and find when I was asked what I felt about Westbrook coming to DC. I was afraid to speak my mind, but my biggest fear has pretty much come true. The Wizards are just as disgraceful as the football team. This is where careers die, remember how great the Wizards were when Michael Jordan played here. Yeah, that's right not even Michael Jordan made this team watchable. It didn't ruin Michael's legacy, but I'm afraid it's ruining Russ'.

OMG. 126-114 against the Bucks, who were favored to win by 72 percent. LaMelo got 27 points, 9 assists and five rebounds.

The Pistons look like they celebrated after that win over the Lakers as if they had won the championship.
