    Bob Hope. He came to Saudi Arabia and put on a show for us on Christmas day, 1990, shortly before Desert Shield turned into Desert Storm. He was 87 years old, nobody made him come out for us, I don't think he even got paid, and if anybody had earned the right to stay home for Christmas with family, he had. But he came anyway just cuz he cared about the GI's. Thanks for the memories, Bob. We loved you.
