The dreadful buzzing of the Kadu bees can be heard remotely from the deep green.
But you know that there is no time to wait. The acolytes of Sister Vihala can't be further than one hour away. Gasping, you try to find a path between the bushes.

This gives me a strong sense of the setting, my motive for being there, and what I'm taking along.

In three snappy sentences, I feel a sense of urgency. And I'm curious who Sister Vihala is.

I appreciate what the absence of the shuttle will mean for me. The passage is clear and direct. <3

 

After a long pondering, I decided to vote for myself

 

Ok, discussion moment. I didn't notice the issue with the character hearing the shuttle at first in Ferus' fragment, but Punk is right.

Then, VLM's fragment is good.
There is just this part: "Your trials have led you here, and your hope to become a Jedi Knight push you on"...
I am unsure about this. Is it just the hope to become a Jedi Knight to push the protagonist? I'd like either their motivation to be different, or the situation to be more desperate.

Are Kadu Bees able to render a being inert and then strip the skin from the paralysed body in under 2 minutes? My vote rests on this.
