Concerning the phrase in the title, I never realized it was funny to begin with.

Was it in the middle of the Film noir tangent that was within Debo’sStar Wats Memories Spectacular? I think much of that was lost to the truncation bug when we moved hosts.

 

You know, kicking off the film noir section of that thread is one of the things I'm proudest of about my career here at the boards. My idea was to write, for some reason, a selection of chapters wherein I was the main character searching for Debo. I think that was during a fallow period in the thread when he wasn't posting much. My idea was for each chapter to be a separate genre, like one would be film noir, one would be a pirate swashbuckler, one would be an Indiana Jones style adventure. Thankfully, I started with the film noir bit and it just took off. I say thankfully because my original idea was horrible.
