JCC How well do you make your bed

This is an important question that determines your personality type, so think long and carefully, lest the ghost of, well, Ghost, haunt you in your bed

 

If you asked me this a year ago I would've gone with somewhat neat. But as I approach a full year of working from home it's probably the first option.

 

I have to make it fairly nice every day because I have a wall bed and it stores more easily when done up properly. Otherwise I would never make it because nobody ****ing cares. Who’s even coming in your house? There’s a goddamn pandemic you monsters. Maintain your virus clean zones. ****.

 

My parents taught me that making your bed is as pointless as tying your shoes after you take them off.

 

Cor this is absolutely crazy, I thought about asking the JCC whether my bed-making technique was too sloppy something like 3 days ago. We must have telepathic power.

 

Bed-making is extremely important, so I am not surprised you would have thought to ask about it, @3sm1r. You are a refined and upstanding man of culture, unlike these other messy proud louts

That is a decent, upstanding bed, Esmir. A little rote and utilitarian, perhaps. Add a splash of color with an extra pillow, maybe a bolster, plus a cute little Teddy bear

 

I only make my bed when I change my sheets; once a week. I do not put much care into it.

So, there's another option not represented so I voted as best I could.

ACTUAL: "Immediately after laundry, we make the bed properly and fully -- and then the rest of the days we just pull the covers up to the pillow."

 

I never make my bed, aside from changing sheets.

 

I'll take it, and thanks for the courtesy of not getting upset for the clothes randomly abandoned there, of whose IIRC you're not really a fan.

 

The clothes are actually a nice, if unintentional, touch; their draping and bending down the edge of the bed calls to mind the surrealism of Dali’s clocks melting over edges of surfaces. A postmodern tour-de-force of technique, even if the whole leaves a bit to be desired

I make mine very irregularly. On those days when I wake up feeling motivated, energetic, and full of life, the bed gets made and made to perfection. Those days occur less than 10 times per year.

 

"Making the bed"?
Seems unwieldy.

 

Picked closest answer- all the time but just but dragging. Real answer is "my wife makes the bed because I don't do it right"
