Mattress manufacturers love exaggerating the mite "problem" so salespeople can tell you bull**** like "after 10 years your mattress is mostly mite crap!"

I put the sheet and cover over the pillow. There's a study that says if your bed looks like that, you tend to sleep better at night. Or I made that up, I honestly don't remember. I also do that, so Ruth doesn't mess around with the feather bed.

 

I don't make it, except when I change bedsheets. Our house is big enough that I don't go into the bedroom unless I'm actually going to bed, so making it seems futile at best. I did make my bed every morning when I lived in a tiny one-room apartment, though.

 

I never make my bed unless there's an apartment inspection. I usually roll everything down to the bottom of the bed to (hopefully) kill any dust mites on the sheets.

I practically live on my bed some days: I use it for reading, writing my stories, and typing messages, such as this one.

 

There's 6 other's who voted like me, but I'll be the one who admits it. I make my bed everyday. It's not perfection, but as neat as I can. I have to get in a made bed at night. I'm also pretty OCD and walking by a room with things too out of place annoys me. It only takes two minutes tops to make a bed. So I do it.

 

H) I redress it at the end of the day to make sure I'm going to have a snug and comfy night, but otherwise don't generally bother

 

I have fitted sheets and a duvet so what's to make ? Well I guess the tricky bit is making sure the duvet fits squarely in the duvet cover and I'm pretty good at that but it's not one of the options above.

the real question is : how often do you change your sheets? But no-one's ever gonna be honest about that.

I chose the following answer:

I make it every day and it looks like a model bed in the bed + linen section of a department store

Why:

Because it’s important. When you make your bed, no matter what happens the rest of the day you accomplished something. Having a bad day, struggling, or even having a routine productive day. Making the bed is important because of this;

Why it may seem trivial not only do you accomplish a task, you feel good, you start the day right, and when you get home no matter how bad it was you get to get into a clean, warm and made bed.

 

Besides, there's no better way to breed the little creepy crawlers.

 

At least Sisyphus is aware he will not reach the top of the hill.
