JCC Who's the oldest member still here?

I'm one of the oldest members on here by join date, but not by age, since I was only 15 years old when I joined these boards (37 now).

 

I think a few beat you. Off the top of my head @jasman @Sarge joined in 98

 

When I post here too much I feel about 78.

 

@Lord Vivec joined when he was 12. That was 15 years ago, and he's now only 17. I don't understand it either.

 

Speaking with all humility, I believe that is my honor. I turn 70 this year. Yeah, I know, I'm older than your grandfather. Star Wars fans are of all ages.

I'm a "read everyday, post every once in a while" sort of oldbie.

 

No socks. Just read. But its not like I've ever been a posting behemoth with 480-odd posts over 22+ years. I've posted more in the last 6 months than probably anytime since I was in the St Louis FanForce, and Its still pretty infrequent.

 

My mom has read a message board for like ten years, knows all the posters and their lives.... And has posted twice.

 

There are probably people who have never made an account and have read the forum for years if not decades

 

Wow...why? Does she have a reason for not posting?

 

My mom is the same way on Facebook even though it's not a apple to oranges comparison. Been on there for over 10 years and hardly ever posts anything.

 

I don't know. It's a Chiefs message board that she literally reads every day. These are people she could actually be friends with in her area because most are around KC. She just reads all day and never posts. Ultimate lurker.

I also think I accidentally found a way to figure out if old accounts were banned. If pre 2012 accounts were banned their trophies will appear as zero. Or this might be a glitch.

Also by clicking on trophies and if you get the message “Users profile is not available.”

 

It’s actually just if they haven’t logged in since the move. IIRC all such accounts also have the same last login date.

Doesn’t seem to be the case. Just checked with two names that haven’t been logged on since the move and the user not found message won’t pop up. And you can access what trophies they have earned. So it might be a random glitch. Or it might only happen to people who were banned

 

So exactly what is that list, JKF? You're not saying it's the first 100 registered members, so what is it?
