I sometimes uses Walmart lingo to describe things at Target.

 

years ago the main rule on here was "films not posters."( I thought this was a good rule), basically meaning discuss the topic not the posters, somewhere along the way this got abandoned.

 

I think it’s a good rule. I try not to yell at people for liking or not liking certain things

 

"I love the new Walmart sign up there!"

ASG's PEOPLE interview. Poor Cor, dude caught a bit of **** for this being a bad interview. Dude was interviewing some guy, pretending to be somebody else. Yeesh.

Everton’s “PEOPLE has jumped the shark” comment really stung. But then when when I started doing interviews again, he came back and said he had been wrong—I forgot whose issue it was...

I actually think it’s kind of cool in a worthless sort of way that all this extra context makes a former dud interview (kind of a mean appraisal as it’s not like a dud was really avoidable given the circumstances, but you know what I mean) downright fascinating. Nabokovian, truly. Albeit with fewer butterflies.

Like the quoted example: actual frustration with the process, feigned frustration because they “should” be frustrated, lashing out because of the specific question? The world may never know.

 

A dud, as in pure grade A bull****.

Still psychologically fascinating, in a super creepshow way.
