Those Whompers have no scruples.

 

They didn't whomp the servers terribly hard, that was less than four hours. Typical of whomp seal half measures, I might add.

Now if Whomp Seal doesn’t win with 80% of the vote, I believe we can conclude that SuperWatto deliberately sabotaged it despite voting for it.

There are three gifs that are deservedly in the 2021 Wattos finals. They got the votes, there was no gerrymandering, it was fair. But those finalists were:

- A violent elephant
- A violent cat
- A violent crab

Need I say more. Sometimes the Wattos Academy needs to show its better nature. Show that its lofty ideals transcend the populace, yes, elevates it.

So after much deliberation the Academy decided to give Whomp Seal its much-deserved second lease on life.

To show the world what it is to care.

All we are saying... is give Whomp a chance.

 

It also harkens back to simpler times, like the way the very first winner of The Wattos, Monkey Love, was picked.

 

Actually, dropping character for a moment, was there a cat gif in the finals when Monkey Love took it? Because otherwise Duck Cat is seriously underperforming its feline finalist forebears.

 

So is Whomp Seal about giving peace a chance, or is it about the Snyder cut? because I feel it’s pretty difficult to be both.

It’s multipurpose and constantly engaged in the dialogic of the GIF. It’s like how Gandalf is Jesus, Odin, and also Whomp Seal.
