    Underwater five-a-side basket-weaving.

    The team with the most intricate baskets at the end of the competition, which lasts for seven and a half weeks, have lots of baskets they can now use.

    The losing team is sacrificed when starving great white sharks are added to the pool.

    Sensible losing teams make baskets big enough to hide in so that they don't get bitten in half quite so quickly.

    The world is baying for very patient slow-burning blood sports. You only have to look at modern day politics to know this is true.

    I think it’s also pretty decently watched thanks to aggressive Premier League television deals and no thanks to MLS signing exclusivity away to the ****ing ESPN app.

    Anyway, the next big sport is clearly competitive truffle hunting. Hours and hours of endless thrills as pigs run around sniffing the ground, trying to find the most truffles. The reward? A fungus, and glory.

    Biathlon. To be fair, I don’t know why you don’t dominate it already. Most kids from the Midwest have been in training for this all their lives, by just travelling to school in the winter.

    Tons. Women's Rugby is huge here in Australia. Even more huge in New Zealand. Do yourself a favour and read about the sport.

    Mindless trivia: dogs are actually used for hunting truffles. Pigs are too difficult to work with, once they find a truffle it is very difficult to stop them from eating it. Pigs are typically used for tourists.

    Fascinating. Now that I think of it, isn't there some sort of commercial that came out recently showing girls playing various sports? I swear rugby was one of them. The fact they would even advertise that is kinda cool

    Edit: well New Zealand has the All Black's and their Haka. So of course they'd play there. Im well aware if them. But from an American perspective it's not mainstream enough yet here
