the feeling to be helpful, kind and being a good person, the light side are portrayed as being the keepers of peace and are helpful and all round good people and this is what i aspire to be like.

Cal Kestis is probably my favourite jedi because he has gone through hell and witnessed his master jaro tapal die in front of him. i like him because of his unique force abilities and how he has overcame all of the bad things in life and how he is thoughtful in not training the children of the force as then they would be hunted down by the imperials. cal has gone through a lot of troubles as a young padawan and he has battled his fears and managed to achieve his goal despite everything he has gone through. this shows us that no matter how hard or bleak your life is looking it will be better and you will be able to achieve your goals like the saying: there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Hello, I discovered star wars when i went up to my grandmas in Southampton and watched it on my Ds. I watched: a new hope and immediately fell in love with it. People who could move rocks without touching them, blasters, vader, and r2+ c3po.
I think the part that has resonated with me the most is ahsokas lining for adventure and the wanting of peace and security to the galaxy. My dad is an ex police officer and we were brought up wanting peace and justice too. I would say that the jedi are like police officers as they are keepers of peace and so is the police however power doesnt make you a jedi, and the police hold a great deal of power. I love the force as it is in some ways a symbol of a religion. My family are mainly christian but my household is not. We respect them and i like how similar these religions have so much in common yet are so different.
My interest has changed hugely in my life. I liked star wars as a kid but now seeing i have matured, i look back at the similarities in real life and I respect how it is similar as we need to teach young people what the real life is like.
George lucas’ ideas have changed my life as now i reflect back on the teachings of the jedi and the teachings that you have given us in the forums. I reflect back memorising the code and what it means so i can become a better person.
I love the forums as it is a lovely place where people are willing to teach and they are all kind and welcoming to new people.

Has it ever produced a 'bonding moment' that you can share?

 

Yes, when i was at home doing my homework and my dad was doing his work we watched and recited the whole obi ani fight without thinking.

 

Me my brother and my dad always do that at 8:00 sharp. I love these moments where you connect to the people around you.
