Cant wait until Sunday night. We have a neighbor that basically "hosts" for a whole bunch of us neighbors and we bring candy to hand out, snacks, food, beers etc over to their place. No answering the door for us! :). Hope the weather is at least decent. Big garage party type of thing.

The Bob's Burgers Halloween where there was self-made haunted house was one of the best Halloween episodes of a show, ever.
Fun fact: for those that don't play Fallout, the nuclear war happens on October 23rd... meaning there are Halloween decorations everywhere amongst the ruined buildings in all the Bethesda games.

Should keep some rocks on hand, on the off-chance you actually see someone wearing these costumes.

Don't know anything about Led Zeppelin...unless you just mean rock music, in which case, sure!

Just a few days left 'til Halloween now! Since my last update, I've watched:

    Blade (1998)
The Brides of Dracula (1960) - first viewing
    Blade II (2002)
    Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992) - first viewing
    The Mummy (1932)
Willow Creek (2013) - first viewing
    The Blair Witch Project (1999)
    Slither (2006)

And I've been continuing watching the Chucky series weekly as new episodes air.

Brides is my favorite Hammer film. Hope you dug it.

    Pun intended.

Absolutely adored it. Of the Hammer stuff I've seen so far over the last couple years, I'm inclined to agree and call it my favorite of the lot.

On the whole, I'd say I prefer James Whale's Universal Frankenstein films to Hammer's Frankensteins (though I do quite like those as well), but I prefer Hammer's Dracula films to Universal's (despite loving Lugosi's take). It's nice to have both takes on each character and their worlds, though.

The Universal films at least make an attempt (sometimes) at continuity, whereas the Hammer films generally just chuck them out the window.

What did you think of Bram Stoker's Dracula? I like it except towards the end when Mina is actively helping Dracula, summoning a storm ect. But the casting is great imo. Keanu took some flack back when it came out but I thought his performance was fine.

I did a project in college about violence in horror films. For visual aide I used a scene from 1931 Dracula (off screen), 1958 Hanmer Dracula (spurt of blood), and 1992 (hilariously huge fountain of blood)

    Edit-
Recently saw Satanic Rites of Dracula for the first time. Didn't dig it so much. Cushing and Lee are great as always but....the prince of darkness gets defeated by a bush

Loved that as well. It's something I've put off watching for years without any real reason as to why, but I found it pretty hypnotizing - like the Hammer films before it, and say, Crimson Peak after it, it is a lush, operatic gothic romance, which is a genre that I often find myself really drawn into. I'm honestly still obsessing over the visuals during the prologue's battle sequence, and the design Dracula's wolf form. I can't wait to revisit the film already.

What's wrong with 'mummifying' regular hot dogs with croissant dough?
