OK, OK, all my fault with that one. I had a bit of an emergency DRL situation with a close friend of the family that has been...somewhat(?) resolved. I won't bore you all with details, but she is at least on her feet again and somewhat back to normal though certainly not out of the woods yet. However with her improved situation my daily involvement there is indeed at an end and I can devote more of my emotional energy towards the forum, writing and the game. Give me the rest of the week here to catch up with the RPG and the current situation there as I start to get us all back on track. Look for an update sometime next week, this time I mean it.

In terms of what I need form you folks, aside from just a bit more patience, is a sense of who all would like to carry forth with the Black Sheep Squadron game? If you all could let me know one way or the other, either here or in the OOC thread (I will cross post this there) or even via PM, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all for your understanding, and really looking forward to getting us back moving again!

I'm cautiously optimistic, but I really wish Aaron was still around to ride shotgun on this as Mike's characters tend to sound very same-y.

 

I'm OK with minimizing the involvement of Stackpole. I enjoyed his books, but I want to see a new story on the big screen.

Agreed. Really dislike how Disney took their ST pretty much completly from Legends plotlines, mainly Dark Empire and Legacy of the Force.

 

If it makes dogfighting better then I'm all for it. But I agree with several people on here in saying that Aaron's characters were better and the dialogue was better, particularly the banter.
