    Huh. I really hope those comic booky visual gags at the start are actually present in the show, and not just there for the trailer.

    So the origin of the powers has really changed. To be fair it seems the powers themselves are diferent.

    Their probably saving stretchy powers for when the F4 debut in the MCU.

    Not gonna click on any of y'all's spoilers because I don't know anything about the comics and just want everything to be a surprise as much as possible. Think the trailer already tells me everything I need to know! ;)

    I think that's part of it. I think another part of it might also be stretchy powers in live action even on a movie budget are really, really hard to pull off in a way that doesn't turn the uncanny valley into a volcano. On a streaming budget? I don't think it can be done. Not yet.

    And she may eventually end up with stretchy powers at some point, after they've sunk a decent chunk of money into developing the how to do that for F4.

    Look, there's absolutely no reason to do someone with stretchy powers in the MCU before unveiling the ur-Stretchy Power person in Fantastic Four.
