Currently at the channel tunnel. Already been here an hour and got a projected 5 hour delay

Well, at least we can get food. Last time I was at the tunnel we were delayed for 4 hours in a car queue, so this is an improvement

It's kind of nice having Monday off. Gonna go for a walk, get some Mexican food and get some DVDs at the library. I've rented Knives Out twice and haven't seen it, mainly because I do not want to like Rian Johnson.
The JKF thing reminds me of a guy I work with who was always losing his keys. One time i helped him look for half an hour, then he said "oh yeah they are in my jacket". I told him I'm never looking for his ******* keys again.

 

Elon is now the biggest shareholder in Twitter. Good thing I left that hellhole a long time ago.

also before you ask I honestly get 100% of my news about Elon from this news show that sometimes covers him and Reddit. I have not once looked up news specifically about Elon Musk. Other than to confirm the news I just saw is in fact real.

 

Just emerged into France, slightly ahead of schedule

Still got a 2 hour journey to Reims, but that’s doable now we’re past all the delays.

 

Hope you enjoy France. Went once. They were mean but the country is amazing and the food is good.

When Alex Kingston guest starred on a couple of other shows apart from Doctor Who, her characters' names tend to be very similar:

On Law & Order: SVU, her character's name was Miranda Pond (but named before River Song was known as Melody Pond).
On NCIS, her character's name was Miranda Pennebaker (first name the same as her SVU character).

My theory: River Song was just using a variety of names while guest starring on those shows.

 

God. Anytime I see someone suck up to Elon’s ego it makes me want to hit a wall.

He’s only done two good things in his life and One of them would have happened anyway.

Why the hatred for Elon though and not Zuckerberg, Gates, Bezos, Peter Thiel etc?

 

Elon posts on twitter the rest don’t. Although I have said I dislike Bezos as he’s anti worker to the extreme. I have heard from my sisters friend who worked at Facebook that it’s ******. Plus the stealing all the data in the world.

Elon is just publicly annoying so easier to be made at.

I honestly don’t care if Billionaires make obscene amounts of money so long as they are not tax cheats and pay their employees wages they deserve.

Elon just is annoying. Plus on top of that I loathe celebrity worship. Give them credit for when they actually deserve it.

case in point for me not caring one way or the other on billionaires Warren Buffet.

He doesn’t have people worship him and he pays his employees at Berkshire a good wage. Although I’ll critique him for not doing it for Dairy Queen. I think wages should be 15 at a minimum and adjusted for inflation.

The reason I original chose to focus on Elon is because at the time he was very popular. Now opinion on him is very split if not mostly negative.

Plus again I just find him to be so very annoying

So yea the reason I singled out Elon is because I just find him personally annoying.

 

My dislike of Elon Musk runs so deep I have convinced someone not to get a Tesla and instead to get a different electric car. It was worth it.

I am very petty

 

There certainly has been billionaire worship of Warren Buffett, but I think you mostly see it in the financial sector not Reddit futurologist nerds
