    Well, that was... a lot...

I will have a new version of my map soon. Again, I easily placed 200 new worlds and revised the locations of a handful more. And I was pleased to see that some of my previous guesses had been accurate! I can't wait to get the actual book so I can go row by row and let madness claim me.

It’s still not clear enough for me - am I missing something?

    Thanks.

So they put Jelucan right on the Hydian. I figured it would a be a little off it considering it is something of a backwater.

I finally see where Castillon from Resistance is. By the way, on this map I have the impression that Exogol and Csilla are much farther apart, if I remember correctly the maps from the TROS Visual dictionary and compared to the others, these two planets overlapped

Nah, they've been like this in a majority of modern maps. One of the few significant changes to the URs is that Ahch-To has been moved one whole grid square closer to the galaxy.

Chadawa is so close to Nakadia is such a flex to put the capital there. [face_laugh]

Also all those nebulae the Empire hid in before Jakku are all over! By Orinda, near Teth, near Christophsis, a pair near Jakku…

… and then Vulpinus is in the Unknown’s and placed. Sweet.

Akiva was a surprise, Pandem Nai was precisely where I expected. Nacronis kinda.

    Riosa and Hevruvion follows.

Oh I found Mirrin Prime on the Hydian too!

I don't suppose there's a consistent naming convention for stars and planets? I'm looking at Wookieepedia, and "Coruscant Prime" is the name of the star of the Coruscant system. But "Yavin Prime" is the name of the gas giant that we've seen since 1977, and its moon is "Yavin 4". And for some reason, the sixth and outermost planet of the Hoth system was chosen to share the name of the system...

I took it that the inhabitable world gets to name the system.

Not sure how it works for Horuset system, for example.

Well Hoth is barely habitable, and Yavin Prime certainly is not.

So, is Mirrin sector definitely nailed down by now - using any particular references?
Whilst I guess the new sector from Victory's Price - that Shadow Wing operated in - could be one of the free-standing sectors in the Western Reaches, perhaps left off of many 'formal' maps.

Judging from its placement, Mirrin Prime is located within space that Legends had marked as part of the Kalamith sector. There are a number of ways of addressing this, from dismissing Legends entirely to establishing one sector as a subsector of the other to an in-universe change of some kind.

On that note, The Rebel Files establishes that Mirrin Prime was scouted and developed as a Rebel base, suggesting that it was neither particularly prominent nor a sector capital. My headcanon is that the Kalamith sector either remained an Imperial stronghold or suspicious in its loyalties, leading the New Republic to move the capital to Mirrin Prime and rename the sector or carve off a subsector.

I forgot to share my latest map in here. It’s not the definitive version of the map post-Celebration, but it’s getting there. There’s a hi-res version in the followup tweet.

    Great maps, thx for sharing!

PS: You should add some UR worlds from TOR MMO maps that are still missing!

I’ll admit I’m fully ignorant about SWTOR! Any particular sources I should be consulting?

Wow. Lothal really is at the edge of known space. Explains why unknown creatures like Loth-wolves and the Vergence Scatter Portal are located there.

...but doesn't explain why you'd want to put an important TIE Defender factory there.
