ESAF ESPAC Resource Thread​

The Sith are too violent and bloodthirsty. The Jedi are too passive. But there is another way, neither dark, nor light. It is the Grey. We respect all aspects of the Force. We encourage balance.

The RPG has already begun. If you already have a character you're playing, please post the Character Sheet here.

If you have not joined us, yet, please do! What you should be prepared for is a challenge to how you understand the Force and our powers. It is moderated by @greyjedi125. First, send a message to him, addressing him as Caretaker. Once your Character Sheet is approved, your first stop will be on our home planet of Decameron Alpha, unless you get permission otherwise. The planet has a strange draw that gathers us for communion.

Brief Description of Appearance: Brown hair, green eyes, 150 lbs, 5'10, Average everything.
Weapons: Two lightsabers obtained from defeated Sith. Needs to have the crystals changed from the awful red color.

Short Bio:
Born a slave, Gildar had lived for a long time being traded from one master to another. He well knew the life of a slave, he knew the Force... somewhat, but that is all he knew. Where he came from, who he really was was lost in time.

Most recently he had been owned by master Jilljan Holmcoff. He was one of many of her slaves, but the only Force sensitive one. Being connected, as he was, to everyone around him, he felt everything that happened. It drove him mad. He had no formal training in his use of the Force, but had figured a few things out. He could land safely jumping from high places and augment his strength to lift things that other slaves couldn't. He could also run faster. He figured out one more thing, too. Murder. One day when the beatings got too much, he finally killed Master Holmcoff and he ran away.

When he ran, he eventually found himself on Decameron Alpha. Unfortunately he was followed by his handler Alejac. The encounter with Alejac, fortunately happened when he was surrounded by other Force users and The Caretaker. Alejac was put in his place, something that, for right or wrong, he took extreme pleasure in. But, now he had a worse problem: he had to figure out who he was.

For the past five years, Gildar has lived and trained on Decameron Alpha with others and on his own. He's found he has abilities and skills beyond those he ever knew were available. After all, it wasn't like there was a how-to book for being a Force user. One of his favorite has allowed him to communicate and work with the animals around him. It's how he's been able to walk through the jungles by himself.

And, he's become a tentative friend of Alejac.

Brief Description of Appearance: Very fit for his age. Military style, close-cropped hair. Originally dark brown, but now graying.

Short Bio:
You are less than him. It doesn't matter what your rank or what you think. You are less than him. He is in control. It will be a lot better for you if you realize this from the beginning.

Alejac was born in the lower levels of Coruscant. He grew up needing to be tougher than everyone. Several times he was excused from lessons or from an activity because of a fight he'd been in. That was not a surprise. What was a surprise is that the other kid had survived.

When he was old enough, Alejac joined the fledgeling Army of the Old Republic. Surrounded by clones, he continued to get into scrapes. Enough so that he was dishonorably discharged within five years.

He has grown up bitter of not being able to have the advantages that "other people" have had. This brought him to be hard on most people, but women, in particular, that he found as exceptionally weak. He also looked down on Force users because he generally found they leaned on that crutch of the Force too much.

He still carried the look and feel of a drill sargeant, even though his buzz cut hair was starting to gray. He found that put people off enough that he could get the upper hand within seconds.

His last position was as one of Jilljan Holmcoff's guards. Because of being in charge of a Force-sensitive slave, he was fitted with a chip to notify him of any Force manipulation.

When Master Holmcoff was killed by Gildar, he gave chase, ending up on this unknown planet Decameron Alpha. Now, he was surrounded by these Force-sensitive beings. It was fortunate he had the chip. He'd found more than one of them peeking around in his head, and he didn't like it.

He has found trust in these people though. The Caretaker has taken him under his wing. He's in charge of security on the planet. He has, also been sent on some recruiting missions. The group here is quite an eclectic bunch. Some have come and some have gone. Though Alejac has found that this has been more of a home to him than any he's ever had.

Force Skills:
Don't insult him by implying he has that Force stuff. He firmly doesn't believe there are those damned midichlorians in his bloodstream, thank you very much.

Biography:
Udin hails from the Nagi homeworld. He grew up like most Nagians, learning the art of combat, utilizing his people’s gift of speed, andlightweightness to achieve victory. However, unlike his contemporaries, Udin did not find the use of their tongue craft to charm and despoil, nor involvement with the slavery of the Wookiees honorable. Fleeing his homeworld, Udin seeks a different path, one oftranscendence. This has lead him to Decameron Alpha, where he hopes to hone harmony, and his people’s warrior habits.

Biography:
Alric is the descendant of the Legendary Ulic Qel Droma and the Krath Sorceress Aleema Keto. He was raised in Krath traditions of the dark side, and developed a fixation with his ancestor Ulic. He left The Teta system to hunt down the holocron of Ulic and his lightsaber which was buried with him on Rhen Var.

Alric is strong in the Force and self trained with a lightsaber. He seeks to find his identity in the past, to live up to his namesake and continue the legacy of Ulic. This makes him at times single minded, and prone to fanaticism.

Alric while trained in Sith Sorcery, has not sworn allegiance to the Sith. His knowledge of Ulic’s redemption has made him curious to explore the Jedi Path while still honing his darker powers. It is the mixture that had lead him to Decameron Alpha.

Short Bio: As a Jedi Knight, Silverhand was against the Jedi’s involvement in the Clone Wars. At the time, his personal ambition was also to become a Jedi Weapon’s Master- to that end, he’d sought to study with Master Sora Bulq in learning Vaapad. As his training progressed, Silverhand was not keen on how close his studies brought him to the ‘darkside’. Yet, this was exactly how he was able to suspect Master Sora Bulq of his ties to the Separatists.

When Master Bulq attempted to recruit Silverhand, their encounter ended in a duel. Bulq bested Silverhand, which resulted in the loss of his right arm. He knew the Weequay would kill him in order to keep his secret safe, even as he fell unconscious. Silverhand found himself waking up in the infirmary much later, never learning who had saved his life.

It would not be long before Order 66 was issued, and Silverhand would manage to escape the doomed Jedi Temple, thanks to a pair of jedi healers he had recently acquainted himself with. Silverhand was lead to meet the one known as ‘The Caretaker’, where he would unlearn what he’d learned, and become a much greater jedi than he could have ever imagined, even to the point of using Vaapad without fear, for he now understood that the Force is One.

He later became a grey jedi and now serves both the light and at times the dark but only ever uses the dark for good.

Biography:

Raul was born into a terrible family life. His father would frequently physically abuse both Raul and his mother. This abuse led Raul to be a very violent and aggresive child, often getting into fights as a young boy.

One night, Raul's father went too far, and killed his mother. This event sent Raul into a frenzy, in which he murdered his father, and demonstrated his first use of the force, utilizing Force Lightning to torture his father before he put him down.

Darkness devoured Raul, but there was a light at the end of the tunnel.

At the age of 14, Raul met what would become the love of his life, Kaina. He courted the girl, who was the same age as he, and they were together until the age of 18. These four years had Raul finding peace with himself, although deeply troubled. When his darkness would devour him, and his thoughts and memories tortured him, she was there to comfort him.

She grew more distant after four years, as Raul began to close himself off to the world as his darkness was growing too strong. Raul noticed this change, and it drove him to great irritation, but he never took his anger out on his beloved.

At 18, a few days before Raul was due to turn 19, he discovered that Kaina was having an affair for the last few months. This drove Raul berserk.

This would be the worst night of Raul's life. He tracked Kaina into meeting with her lover in a location Raul was aware of, and slaughtered the two there.

A patrolling guard heard the commotion, and called for a squad to go and stop the murder. When they entered the building, Raul ripped apart the entire team. Further guards and troops followed, desperately trying to apprehend Raul.

Eventually, after dozens of people lay dead around Raul, he was apprehended.

He was put onto a high-security prison ship, in a cell that was reserved for the most dangerous inmates.

A year passed, and during this time darkness had utterly consumed Raul. His skin grew pale, his eyes a sickly orange-yellow. His strength and power grew. Raul had passed the point of no return.

The massacre that followed Raul's escape on the prison ship was brutal. He broke out of his cell when food was being brought to him, splitting the head of the guard bringing his meal in two and taking his key card.

He tore through ranks of guards, as they foolishly tried to stop him.

He took a transport ship that was docked to the massive prison ship, and escaped. Since then, his presence within various databases went dark. The Empire was unable to track him, placing several large bounties on his head.

Raul's transport ship then crashed on Decameron Alpha, on the Equatorial mountain range, where his dark journey now continues...

Short Bio:
Sephinoth was born to be a warrior like most of his people, The Echani. He became master of the sword, and learned to tap into an unseen power that gave him speed of motion unlike any Echani in combat. During one battle against the Sith he was electrocuted and laid in a mass grave of his people, where he rose from The Netherworld and decided that he would go into exile and learn the ways of the Force. During his travels he learned from his encounters with Jedi and Sith how to tap into Ashla and Bogan. Through training under a Nameless Jedi he forged a lightsaber of great length, the blade almost twice the length of a normal saber. The blade burned red, not by bleeding the crystal, but by his own blood which he placed upon the crystal as an offering of thanks for his salvation so many years ago.

Bio:

His name is Vydra Delomeux

His Master? The light side of the Force.

His mission? Protect the citizens of the galaxy from the darkness, whatever form it takes.

He follows no Code, no creed. He is not Jedi or Sith or Grey. He is just…Vydra, lightside warrior and protector.

Born on the libary world of Nouane, Vydra always had an interest in learning from a young age. He was found to be Force sensitive and was taken in by the Jedi.

During his studies he was always to be found in the archives, reading was his passion. In training he favoured being defensive over offensive and adopted his own stance, The Guard of The Hawk before battle. When the time came to build his lightsaber, he chose a yellow blade the sign of a pure defender.

He rose to the rank of Knight in his teenage years. However he wanted more freedom to explore the galaxy after reading so much about the galaxy beyond, more freedom to be himself. So he left and started on his travels.

Over the years he still dedicated himself to serving the light side of the Force, but on his terms. Vydra chooses his own missions, where darksiders appear to annihilate, cause chaos and destroy, he is there to help save citizens and planets.

He doesn't consider himself a hero, just a man getting by, doing what needs to be done. He does have a penchant for the ladies, his only weakness.

Now he awaits the call once again to defend and perhaps maybe save a citizen or two….

She also developed a strong connection to the force. She became the padawan of Gerald Neir at the age of 14 and the two grew really close until Zoe became a jedi knight abd took on her own padawan called Hilda Mopol at the age of 22. She later stumbled across her current girlfreind, Cort Dreit, whilst on a personal assignment to Kamea. Zoe watched on helplessy as Cort became more and more entangled with the darkside even going as far to become a sith herself. Zoe had sought out a freind of Cort and learned the location of the grey temple and went to Decameron Alpha on Cort's orders to keep her safe. Now she seeks out Caretaker polmath.

Short Bio:
Arn was born into The Black Guard, a sect that protected relics on Mustafar. During his tenor as Trinity Assassin guarding relics, he became seduced by the dark side of the Force. As he guarded a Sith holocron, he coveted it, and slayed his fellow Blackguards. Arn now travels the galaxy seeking the mysteries of the dark side, never satisfied with pillaging temples and shrines of the dark side.
