Well... a thing happened

Curious how we all think or feel about the update.

 

Thoughts: *Ahem*

As usual, beautiful artwork. And, though I knew not how, I was 99% certain the heroes weren't winning this, lol. As before, the tale is crafted both beautifully and intelligently. It greatly mitigates the bitter taste of defeat.

Yeah minor note you had in your post for what you had as Zalzabar's 'final words' was actually Malum speaking. Zalzabar's last words were "I'm sorry".

Might have read your post wrong, but just wanted to make sure we are on the same page

 

ahh... okay. Might have gotten that wrong.

I'll chalk it up to her being far away..... lol

 

You never really noticed the similar speech patterns until you mistook the one for the other

Well, it happened. We finished a game.

Genuinely from the outset I was never sure if we would get to this point. There were many times for a variety of different reasons along the way that I wanted to hang up the towel and move on from this game, but it was all your shining and creative work that pulled me along to get us to where we are now.

Thank you @Shadowsun, for providing us with this fantastic experience, and more so, for seeing us to the end- even through all the hindrances that tested our collective resolve. I count Saga of the Ryujin as a triumph and a shinning example to any and all who wish to run a successful game, no matter the genre. The level of commitment from you, the GM, and from us, the Players, was inspiring throughout. You challenged our imaginations and our RPing skills, made us think about our choices and taught us that not all results would meet our expectations- realistically so!

I know I will personally refer to this game as the 'high standard' for anyone curious to see a living and breathing example of a 'complete game', which includes a healthy reference thread. This is something not easily achieved, but certainly rewarding, worthy of every effort invested in its culmination.

So, to you, a heartfelt thank you- and THREE CHEERS!! For gifting us this gem.
