When you solve your own question about switching out a Canon character that’s going to be an OC for all intents and purposes for a different Canon character by keeping them both and changing the beginning of the story and now need to rewrite a section but need a computer to do it and not a mobile device.

...when the minuscule amount of caffeine in truffles causes you to be unable to write for at least a week. (Honestly, that was and is still embarrassing. How or why? Caffeine sensitive. Very.)

I feel like the most cheeky and annoying but also most irrefutable way to answer this thread would be for someone to actually post their fanfic in it.

 

As to the truffles being worth it... sort of? At first, I thought I was having January doldrums, caused by gloomy weather. Which didn't make any sense, because I love rain and we're finally getting it, and I kept getting dropped into the emotional sub-basement, and there's usually only one way that happens like THAT, after a swift upswing into hyperness. When I realized... "No wonder I was so darn hyper. Jeeze."

...when your OC's brother finally gets his chance to be in story properly, and he's even more of a troll than his psychologist sister who gave him the low-down in very emotional ASL the day before. (I COULD give a story fragment, just to be annoying ^^, but I'm not done with said fragment.)

 

Mando wasn't sure why there was a cat living in his helmet but people were asking him questions about it.

"I don't know," he said. "He just sits there and writes fanfiction."

Greef Karga was confused. "Cats writing fanfiction inside people's helmets?! That's a terrible combination!"

"What can I say?" said Mando casually. "He just sits inside my helmet and likes writing stories. In fact, he's writing this fanfiction right now."

"We're all stories in the end," agreed Greef.

And the helmet cat continued to write the next chapter.

YKYAFFWW you start to read a Wookiepedia article on a new character you wish to write and quit reading after the first intro para, because the involved backstory tells too much and you want to create your fanon without bothersome details that you must, you know, stick to.

 

You forget Din/Luke is not a official ship and are shocked when people act like they have never heard of it.
