Got new white board markers low smell and expo but the blue kind of sucks. Any one have any suggestions and I prefer the bullet pointed ones.

lol, ishy, I don’t think you can do that, plus Nehru works with tiny kids so their fingers might not cut it!

My new PC arrived yesterday, after a long time I finally got it working, the guy who built it did a rubbish job and left the CPU cooler disconnected, didn’t attach the fan controller and stuffed the cables in the hard drive trays, so that was a faff as I was putting in my own from my previous PC.

 

Hello @Moll! I'm doing well. Off for the day now. My computer had issues, so was told to log off early. What do you have planned for the weekend?

 

A few things, picked my nephew up from school, and we played domino’s, and tomorrow my Mum, Dad and I might visit this local town to go to some book shops. Plus, we are going to an olde toy fair on Sunday, which should be fun, and Sunday is Civ VI night, so hopefully will be playing that with the gang. How about you, Ishy? Do the boys have sports on the weekends?

@s_heffley, I started playing a bit of Midnight Suns last night, did the tutorial and a few missions and it is actually really fun. I was pleasantly surprised, as I wasn’t too sure with it being a card based strategy game. But walking around the Abbey is very pretty, plus the actual fights are quite suspenseful.

 

The boys are going to Central Rock with their Jamboree troop this weekend. It's a team-and-friend-builder for when they go to the National Jamboree this summer.

 

Oh nice, is that for scouts (or whatever the American equivalent is)? I was helping out at Guides tonight, I volunteer most Fridays in my home town.

 

It is great I wasn’t planning on getting it cause I’ve never really played tactical games, but I saw it in a video and really wanted to try it out for myself. The core mechanics of the fights are really fun, and I agree about the Abbey. They didn’t need to go as hard as they did with it. The same goes for the story in general. Every character is great and none of them feel like side characters.

Now I’ve been watching some vids of XCOM to see if that’s something I’d be interested in. But from what I can tell, that one just seems a bit too much for me

 

Good for you! I'm glad you're getting involved. I did too when I was younger. It appears from a quick search that Guides and Scouts are the same.

By the way, Central Rock is a rock-climbing gym. There's bouldering and belaying areas.

The old toy fair sounds fun! Do you collect, or are you going just for fun?
