    It's literally 1 degree out and dropping fast. Damn this insomnia and relentless cold and snow. Supposed to work in three hours and can't get any rest or warmth and this bloody anxiety...

    Over here Guides and Scouts are separate. Guides is Girl Guiding, so only girls allowed and probably more crafty. Scouts is a mixed sex and a bit more outdoorsy, I think if i was young now, I probably would have preferred Scouts, but at the time is was boys only.

    There is usually a guy there who sells coins, so I always see if he has any of the Royal Mint special coins, as I have been a collector since I was around 2 or 3 years old. Also, there tends to be lots of Star Wars, Doctor Who and collectibles, but the majority is model railway, which my Dad is really into.

    Getting closer, @DarthIshyZ ! My culottes, boots and hat fit well, but I had to send the tunic back because the collar and sleeves were too tight. Also going to get some help with my hat and then I should be ready to go.

    They weren't kidding about the limited range of vision. At a certain point, you had to look through the grill of the 'frown' to see where you were going—for example, when you tried to navigate stairs. That was always fun. <_< I also had mini-CPU fans attached to the inside of my bucket to help with air circulation, but they weren't always effective, especially out in the heat.
