Tia gazed at her foe with peridot green eyes as she defended herself against her foe in a saber 'lock' "there's just one problem, Jedi I am no longer a Sith, so you have saved these people from nothing...all you have done is caused panic"

IC: Cort Driet

Cort kept the saber lock.

"That may be true Tia, but you have caused pain. Pain that I can not forgive for, you took everything from me, and for that I will always clash against you, whether in battle or like I just did, I will avange everything I have lost, Tia" Explained Cort her eyes flashing occasionally between black and red as her emotions swirled around her causing the force within her to become "Confused" between the light and the dark within the grey Jedi.

Tia felt the conflict in her opponent, in her confusionTia could easily have struck Cort with a fatal blow. Instead she continued her steady gaze at her "you speak of the warrior...Aleric isn't it?" she sneered at her "the 'wound in the force' made his choice, the dark consumed him..as it will consume you. The dark-side is but a black hole, sucking all light inside it" Tia's voice becomes mellow "let go...let it pull you in"

IC: Cort Driet

"Yes I do, Tia, but also let's get one thing straight, I will never turn to the dark side and join you" Replied Cort as she overcame her anger, she would not allow it to consume her, not after the training she had received. Her green blade crackled against Tia's own red one. She aimed a force push at Tia aiming to draw her away.

IC: Tia Vainglorious

Tia is pushed backwards by the energy field known simply as the force, she skidded across the gravel floor as though braking on ice and steadied herself, pointing her saber at Cort "you can't win Jedi. If you strike me down you have done so in your own anger, you let me live, you have let your enemy loose on the feeble public, Even though I have not threatened one single person here today..." she deactivates her saber and tosses it to Cort, and it landed at her feet with a clatter "you're a mess" Tia said with disdain "you neither belong to the light or the dark...but this....'grey' order" she scoffs "no wonder there is confusion in you, your order is capricious...fickle, has no defining ideology or structure, just confusion" she steps in front of her, "strike me down....and we will see if you are of light or of darkness, one cannot be both. It's a contradiction of nature"

IC: Cort Driet

Cort deactivated her lightsaber.

"I will never fall to the same level as you, Tia." Said Cort who then grabbed Tia's Lightsaber. The design was elegant, she would give her that.

"You are right about the grey Jedi order, Tia, this is also quite a weapon you got yourself here."Said the grey Jedi before throwing it aside and ignited her second blade. The second blade was a curved hilted gold Lightsaber. It emitted a green blade which was the only thing that was the same which was the same about the two sabers.

" Tia, you and me are not that different l, I see that now, but I'm afraid I can not allow you to leave" Explained the grey Jedi as she swung her Curved Lightsaber over her head and Brought the blade down

IC: Tia Vainglorious
Tia saw the flash of green, and darted to the right in a forward roll aided by the force, she force called her weapon back to her hand and stood facuing her opponent, she simply stared at the grey Jedi girl. She was actually going to do it. She was going to kill an unarmed acolyte in front of witnesses. "Tell me grey Jedi...is it really for the sake of the galaxy you want to destroy me...or is it vengeance for Aleric?"


IC: Cort Driet
Cort's weapon collided with the ground where Tia had been moments before. The curved Hilt was a lot easier for Cort's hands. Cort listened to Tia as the green blade hummed beside her. She then replied to Tia.

"Both" she said coldey as she swung her Curved Hilt towards Tia at an angle.

IC: Tia Vainglorious

Tia block the blow and parried, a swirl of red and green clashed in the middle of the great city as people either watched on with gasps or ran in terror. Tia glanced a young child watching on, holding some kind of cuddly toy, she grinned at Cort before swinging her saber cutting through a momument dedicated to a great republic Chancellor of old, it began to fall in the direction of the captivated youngster.


IC: Cort Driet

Cort saw the monument falling and deactivated her saber to lift it with the force, she may be a grey Jedi but her hearts where not cold enough as to let a child die when she can save them. She lifted the monument into a body of water which she would clean up afterwards. She then turned to Tia.

"And here I was thinking you had changed Tia. You would really kill a child?" She asked


IC: Tia Vainglorious

Tia watched Cort save the child with a satisfied grunt. "I had to know how much darkness there was in you. And don't lie to me" her voice was low, annoyed "if you really think I have changed you would not have killed me"

As she spoke Theed security arrived "that's them"


IC: Cort Driet

"Is that so" Said Cort as theed security arrived. They readied their blasters just in case. Cort knew she could deal with them if need be. As she was not a Jedi she did not need to follow the jedi code about harming innocents. Cort reactivted her saber and prepared for battle again.

"So you have connections" Cort said.

"What fun, what fun" Said Cort letting out a little laugh aimed at Tia and the security beings.


IC: Tia Vainglorious

Tia let out a snort "you think I called these people? I was looking forward to killing you, after I had my fun"

The Head Of Security came forward "put your weapons down slowly and put your hands behind your head, law enforcement is on the way and you are completely surrounded"


IC: Cort Driet

"You think that'll happen my friend." Said Cort towards the head of security. She ignited her other saber as a sign of aggression towards them. She held one towards the security officers and the other towards Tia, not as aggression towards her but to keep her back.

IC: Tia Vainglorious

Tia said nothing, and carefully placed her weapon on the ground, kneeling her hands behind her head
"I come peacefully, I am not the agressor here..." she looks at Cort with a sly expression. Theed authorities were on their way.

OOC: since this duel has took on a life of it's own, this will continue in it's own sandbox RPG An Uneasy Alliance coming very soon.

*High Inquisitor Ivo scrambles his way into battle...*

 

IC: Anakin and Lander

They boarded a starship to go to Cantonica, and then headed to the Canto Bight arena. Here, Obi-wan challenged Tanal and Anakin challenged Lander

Anakin is shaking with excitement as it is his first time holding a lightsaber.

"Okay Anakin, push that red button on your lightsaber-" said Lander

*Anakin puts his eye in the lightsaber hole*

"NO! Don't do that!" said Lander furiously

"Oh, sorry, Lander. *turns lightsaber on* WOAH! COOOL!" said Anakin joyfully

"Okay, try swinging your lightsaber on that rock over there." said Lander

*Kwishuuu!*

"That's so cool!" said Anakin who's amazed

"Okay, try dueling me." said Lander

"Don't go easy on me!" said Anakin enthusiastically

"*switches lightsaber on* Sure! Let the battle begin!" said Lander excitedly

Anakin tried to hit Lander but counters it, and then Lander tried to attack Anakin but he suprisingly countered it too. Lander kept on attacking Anakin when he couldn't handle it anymore. He was so furious he hit his lightsaber repeatedly on Lander's one.

"Calm down, Ani. Anger is not the way of the Jedi." said Lander

"Yes, Lander." replied Anakin

"Now, try using the Force to move that box over there." said Lander

*Anakin grunts*

*box floating a meter in the air*

Anakin: WOAH!!

"Okay, Ani. Give the lightsaber back, our practice is done for today." said Lander

"Aww, fine. Here you go Mister Jahid, thanks!" said Anakin

IC: Tanal and Obi-Wan

Tanal took his saber back from Anakin before turning to back to Obi-Wan. Tanal ignited the saber and the blade extended from the Hilt with a *snap-hiss* just as obi-want's own green saber ignited with another *snap-hiss*. The duel had begun. Obi-Wan turned to his Padawan.

"This Anakin is how you propoly duel, this you will learn in time" Obi-wan then turned to Tanal.

"I take it that you have had some training from your own master, Padawan Jahid" Said Obi-Wan taking his Form III stance.

"Yes master Kenobi, some what..." Tanal said before Obi-Wan came advanced with his saber. Obi-wan swung his saber to come to bear on Tanal's right shoulder, Tanal then brought his own saber up collide with Obi-Wan's. The two exchanged blow after blow to eachothers blades as they were not aiming to harm the other Jedi. It ended when Obi-Wan disarmed Tanal and Tanal's saber went across the arena. Obi-Wan held his saber towards Tanal's chest.

"Do you yield, Padawan Jahid?" Asked Obi-Wan. Tanal then nodded at Obi-Wan. Obi-wan deactivated his saber and clipped to his belt before helping Tanal back up into his feet. Tanal force called his saber to his hand and clipped it to his belt. Obi-Wan then turned back to Anakin.

"That my young Padawan is how you duel. I will teach that once you get your own saber, but for now that is all" Obi-Wan said.

IC: Anakin and Lander

Now that the duel is over, the Jedi parted their ways. Ani and Obi went back to Coruscant.

Anyone up for a friendly duel? I'll play as Lander Corscu, from Anakin's Training.

 

Why not. I'll go as Tanal Jahid from the final stand. How does that sound?

 

IC: Lander Corscu

"It's great to see you again, Tanal" said Lander

"Now, shall we?" said Lander as he got in his form stance

IC: Tanal Jahid.

"You too. Let's begin" Replied Tanal as he unclipped and ignited his purple saber. The blade extended with a *snap-hiss*. He then took his own form III stance.

IC: Lander Corscu

Lander went for the first strike. But it was countered. Next was a force push, which went quite well. With Tanal pushed on the edge, Lander went for the strike and it was still countered. Lander thought that this wasn't gonna be easy. Lander force lifted the boxes nearby. Tanal sliced through the boxes and then immediately force pushing Lander. Tanal was eager to win, except Lander was too. Lander got off the ground and jumped as high as he can and dodging Tanal.
