Oh, it's after order 66 . . . but still why would the Clone Troops bother attacking wookiees? Oh well, I guess I just have to read it for real first.

It seems a lot of the natives the Jedi befriended were suspected by the troops after Order 66- thus the Clones arresting the Utapauans.

Its going to be a while till I get this :_|
I have no doubt though that its going to be really good :D
You know Ryan, you should write a story about Commander Bacara and the Galactic Marines for a future CWA book. Perhaps their adventure at New Bornalex or a completely new story. I wonder how Bacara would look in the cartoon style[face_thinking]

I really enjoyed clone wars 4. The clone story was awesome as was the droids story.

It is indeed, post-O66. The Wookiee Roundup Begins!

Well, it's officially out now (though obviously some lucky few have picked it up already.)

    Anyone care to discuss?

One thing that got obliterated in the editing process was the referencing-between-stories. I referenced Kashyyyk and the "Battle of the Celestial Wake" from Haden and Justin's stories, respectively. And Haden referenced Garqi, which was where Orders takes place.

I also nicked Karen Traviss' name for the Jedi General. She was mirthlessly pleased by that. Heh.

Heh. Yeah, that was one of those "Good News-Bad News" situations.

Me: Karen, the Good News is... I've put you into one of the CWA stories.

    Karen: :)

Me: But the bad news is... you're a Jedi.

    Karen: :(

    Me: And
    I killed you.

    Karen:
    She got her revenge, though.

I was very amused when I got to that part. I felt an extreme sense of irony when Karen Traviss, who has admitted to cheering during the Order 66 scene, ends up being one of its victims, at the hands of RC's, no less. Excellent story, Ryan. Once again, yours was the best in the issue. The issue as a whole, I found more enjoyable than CWA vol. 3. Never really cared much for slap-stick comic stories like "Another Fine Mess", but I loved all the other stories.

Strange, DHC's site has this as coming out 26 October.

Maybe there's a few early copies doing the rounds.

JB, yes, street dates can sometimes be an ever-shifting thing.

Many people are starting to receive their copies from Amazon already, so... :)

As you say Ryan, it's isn't unusual.

It is, however, helpful for me, as CWA can be tricky to find in the UK sometimes, just gives me a better idea of when I should start lookling as it were.

i never can find these in local bookstores--I've only found CWA 1 and 2--could someone give me synopses of the stories from 3 and 4, as well as planet, critter, character, and vehicle info? Or right your own wiki articles and drop me a line

I'd also like to request a listing of the different story titles and their timeline placements, so I can add them to my timeline before I'm able to order a copy for myself.

Funny thing -- my local shop had Republic #78 in stock the other day, but not CWA #4. Nor today either, when I called to double-check; the guy on the phone said he should be getting it next week.

Some folks are getting one, but not the other, and vice-versa. More's the pity; I so wanted to witness Ryan's Revengence.

My local had this (plus Republic 78 & Empire 35 - been a bit of a delay on Empire of late getting across the Atlantic.)

I do like these snapshot adventures, bit more of a sombre tone present in this set of tales I think, but that ain't a bad thing.

Well, Orders starts 1 standard day before Order 66. (Although, as Garqi and Coruscant are on different times... Order 66 actually occurs during Garqi's morning hours. Killed before breakfast! Poor Jedi.)

Not sure about the others. Wish I knew. :(
