Hey Abel what do you think about Stover new book "Luke Skywalker and the Shadows of Mindor" that was just announced. As, I thought you would have opinion on it as it deals with Shadowspawn.

I'm excited about Matt Stover's new book. I'm a big fan of his Star Wars work.

I think I've mentioned before that I had written a new backstory for Shadowspawn in a project on Imperial Warlords I'd co-authored with Dan Wallace for Polyhedron in 2004, before they lost the Star Wars license. As Dan, the Polyhedron editor, and myself are the only ones to have ever seen the text, however, don't expect Shadows of Mindor to incorporate my take on Shadowspawn. Nonetheless, Stover is a very competent Star Wars writer, and I expect the story to be quite entertaining.

Hey Abel, I recall you mentioning that in your Fact Files article for Empire: Betrayal, you had a mention of Atha Prime that got cut. I'm trying to source a Wookieepedia article, and I was wondering if you could confirm and/or expand on that.

Sure. First of all, I do confirm that I made the reference and that it was cut from the final print article. The reference was vague, IIRC, but suggested that, at some point in his past, Trachta was in cahoots with Atha Prime. At that time, Empire: Betrayal was the first story to canonize the "stormtroopers are clones" theory, and I wanted to help fuel reader speculation by adding Atha Prime to the fire.

That's awesome, Elipsis. What an honor. That's quite an impressive article, in terms of writing and layout. I'm surprised you guys squeezed so much info out of so few sources!

Hopefully I can add more to Halagad's backstory before it's featured on the main page.

It was really great meeting so many of you guys. Hope those of you who were at the Meet & Greet enjoyed the Skywalker wine! And many thanks for the T-shirt, Wookieepedians!

Hi Mr.Pena, i really liked your Evil Never Dies artical on the Sith in Insider that was great stuff, very well written, do you have any plans to do an updated version after LOTF has been finished?and this would also probably include much of Legacy as well because LOTF wont be finished until next august, but that would be great to expand on all of the new history, i also like your other work as well.

Yeah, I'm not really seeing the relevance of that to this thread.

 

I was wondering: will we ever be hearing more about the Order of the Canted Circle? There isn't much information about the upper class of the Galactic Empire and that's one of the few mentions of it we have.
