STAR WARS: LEGACY #13â??READY TO DIE
JOHN OSTRANDER (W), COLIN WILSON (A), BRAD ANDERSON (C), and JAN DUURSEMA (Cover)

    On sale Jun. 13
    FC, 32 pages
    $2.99
    Ongoing

Darth Krayt, the ruthless and unwavering Sith Emperor, knows that to achieve order, sometimes one must first create chaos.

With the galaxy nearly in his grasp, Krayt tires of deposed Emperor Roan Felâ??s opposition of the Sith.

He decrees that this alliance of Imperials loyal to Fel must be broken. Once scattered, Krayt has little doubt his weakened opponents will surrender to his ultimate command.

To achieve this end, Krayt has devised a unique mission for a minion of atypical loyaltyâ??Darth Kruhlâ??who is not only willing to kill, but ready to die.

Sounds like Kruhl has a source to go with it.

Holy crap! Great cover, Jan! And have we seen Colin Wilson's art before, or is he new to Star Wars?

And I agree, Roan's badassery knows no bounds. I might even sig that.

If there's one person whose bad-assery knows no bounds... it be Roan Fel.

All Roan Fel needs now is 300 Imperial Knights to follow him into battle and his badassery will be complete.

What are you talking about?

The very fact that he looks like he's been on the recieving end of a good beating is what makes him a badass.

One of baddassery's first principles is that though you *will* get beaten up a ridiculous amount - perhaps even tortured - you don't break and you keep going. You can't BE a badass unless that happens, jeez...

V (DF, JK, JO, and JA), but HELL YEAH.

Of course, that's assuming LA could be that creative and capitalize on something outside the "safe" eras. Well, KOTOR sprang from TOTJ, so maybe there's a little hope.

If you want to get really technical, we've only ever had Dark Forces II. The other two were merely "Jedi Knight" games.

However, I'll second that HELL YES. I fully support any game which does not allow the player to relive or replay any filmic moment, especially the Battle of Hoth.

Plus, it would be just plain badass.

    Badass!! :D [face_laugh] b-)

Aye. We saw him wearing it in #3 or #5, if memory serves. He seems to have an Amidala-class wardrobe - #9 is actually the first time we've seen him wear the same costume in two scenes... :p

Darth Krayt, the ruthless and unwavering Sith Emperor

    "Sith Emperor" = Sith'ari...?! :D

To be honest, this is really the only option Krayt has left.

Bastion and the Sith Empire stand at stalemate, and if the Alliance and Jedi join Bastion things will crumble for Krayt.

He can't strike Bastion, can't kill the Jedi, can't find the Alliance. All he can do is destroy Fel, and hope that his daughter will divide Fel's forces permanently.

    There's a high chance it'll work, unfortunately...

    Great, great cover.

Maybe its just my preference, but I find the drawn covers to be superior to the CG ones...

So if it comes to a one-vs-one between Roan Fel and Darth Krayt, who is going to make it. Keep in mind, that Krayt is suffering from something serious and that he was seriously exhausted after taking the throne for himself.
