Deliah could well be dead, like most women who have affairs with Skywalker males. Either she or Morrigan could well die in #19. Curse of the Skywalkers.

Nah, Deliah won't die. Looks to me like an old picture, taken back when Cade and Jariah were still pirates, and quite possibly before Blue showed up on the scene.

For some reason, Cade's gold-looking blaster made me think of this:

Bruce: Boys, if we nail this track, you'll all be wearin' Gold-plated diapers.
BOC Member: What does that even mean?
Bruce: It means I'm Bruce Dickinson, and I need more cowbell!

Sorry, can't remember the exact lines, but I got the important parts.

Cade and especially Syn do look quite young in the picture...

It kind of reminds me, interestingly, of some of the iconography of Cowboy Bebop, for anybody who's seen the show, specifically of the cover of the "Perfect Sessions" box set.

As others have said, that cover is amazing! At first I didn't think it was Jan, since it looks slightly more "cartoony" (I hate using that word, because so many people use it in a negative context. Maybe "stylized" would be more accurate?) than most of her work. It almost looks like something by Pia Guerra, the great artist of Y the Last Man.

So... Rav's got a hole blown in his head in that picture, right?

    Does he bite the bullet?

Another one-shot, eh? Makes me wonder if 24 - 28 will be a five-part arc, before Vector begins in Issue # 29. I'm still hoping for more Marasiah, but this issue looks very good indeed.

Glad you like the cover. :)

Sharp eyes amongst you have noticed it looks a bit 'different'/'cartoony', etc. On purpose. I wanted to give the pic a more 'stylized' feel, but with a lighter tone and a feeling of fun and the 'good old days'--along with a feeling like an early photo from the old West in that it's posed for. The 'photo' was taken when Cade and Syn were still crew on the Crimson Axe, so they are younger in it.

Lots more fun little 'stories' told within the snapshot--I'm surprised no one's spotted them yet...

Who is the human-crutch that the ol green pirate is leaning on?
That cover makes me think that Rav is central to the Vector arc.
Especially after looking at the big red stone hanging from his neck.;)

    Can't wait to find out.

I like how it's a picture within a picture. Like Jan said, it is a picture of the good ol days in the past. The fact that it's tied to a darker ship locker with blasters bolts into the head of Rav shows how Cade has been betrayed.

I think the stylization turned out awesomely, and I hope you have the chance to use this style more frequently in the future, although I don't know how well it fits the world of Legacy, outside of "good old days" flashbacks, as you called them. Either way, totally sweet image. I never thought I'd like anymore better than the Adam Hughes "ghost Luke" cover, but this one's a contender!

Also, it reminds me of the Goonies.

Largely because of his attempt to destroy the democratic Galactic Alliance and his alliance with the Sith.

Not quite, if it was I'd be stubbornly insisting that Tenel Ka was evil too. :p

Edit: Of course, it's likely that I'm not inclined to give Fel the benefit of the doubt given that his government is descended from Palpatine's.
