Well maybe there's a difference between getting the talisman and using it...

I'm not entirely sure whether you would need to be Force sensitive. Haven't there been dark side disciples in the past who have used Sith amulets and things to pump themselves up? I'm sure its been a feature in the RPG mechanics at least, which I always assumed was their way of letting people do the whole Krath thing (albeit the Ketos were Force sensitive).

If the Muur Talisman has Darth Andeddu or whomever riding around inside it then I could see it possibly being dangerous in the hands of a normal person too.

    *raises hand* I have a question. :)

Is Gunner older or younger than Cade? Or would that be too telling?

And I don't think I said it here, yet, but:

    Fantastic issue/arc/conclusion! =D==D==D=

Hello everyone! This is my first post ever in theforce.net's boards.

After reading Legacy #19, my theory at the end was:

Nyna had "somehow" recovered Morrigan Corde's "heirloom" and after switching it on, she finds out (for perhaps a 2nd time) that Morrigan is Cade's mom. Morrigan tells Cade not to come looking for her because it was implied that she was going to be on the run. After all, she knows she's in trouble in that more people now know that she is Cade's biological mother, and will be going into exile to avoid the press. Nyna observes the Skywalkers and says, "run," mainly at Morrigan, as Nyna will not stop pursuing Morrigan until she is captured and tortured for punishment (she betrayed the Empire and had a child with the Empire's greatest enemy (Jedi)!).

But after reading the info/spoilers from Wookiepedia, I have to admit, those make BETTER sense and are more dramatic than my theory!

I wasn't too impressed with Legacy in the beginning, but I'm definitely glad now that I continued reading it up to this point. Here's to more intriguing stories from Dark Horse comics! (Clicks glasses)

    Ironic.

Veed is a ripped old guy and his girlfriend has a nasty Isard face but a body like a 20 year old.

seeing that everyone else have covered a possible backstory for Nyna/ Corde, is there a slight possibility that she could be a clone or Nyna could be the clone? Just a thought :)

    Just for clarification --

As the story presents it, Corde' and Callixte are the same person. No clones. Cade is her son. Text says Kol knew her as Morrigan. Calixte was married at some point to Moff Yage. Gunner Yage is her daughter. She abandoned daughter and husband to take up with Veed. She is now the Imperial head of Security/Intelligence and was from at least the start of the Sith-Imperial War. Since she left Kol to return to the Empire when Cade was very young, it's been about 18 years. Odds are that she did NOT come back to immediately become head of Security/Intelligence. She loves her son enough to try and rescue him from the Sith. Her relationship with her daughter is. . .not close. Gunner is very much her father's daughter. Cade and Gunner are (at least) half-brother and sister.

There are probably a few more "facts" but I hope these help clarify a bit. They're based on the story as presented thus far. No, they don't answer all your questions.<g> Or even come close. Who am I to get in the way of speculation?

BTW--the joke sign was flashing when I said she was a Lucite Sith. (Lucite being a name of plastic.) You all saw it, right?

Wait... plastic... I know... she's a HRD! The twisted offspring of Guri and Dash Rendar!

Morrigan does look a bit like Guri, hair color, chest and all. [face_thinking]

Thank you jfostrander for answering my "All I want to know is: does Morrigan assume Nyna identity or is she Nyna right from the start?" question. :)

Well it still may be possible Morrigan was just a codename she used while undercover on the mission she ran into Kol and that she still was Nyna right from the start, albeit not as Director of Intelligence until sometime later. ;)
