Kylo Ren will get his wrists slapped from Snoke following his performance in TFA, leaving him feeling seriously under pressure, irrelevant, worthless and not a strong villain.

He jumps in a taxi to get away from Snoke's throne room but the cabbie turns out to be Jyn Erso who tells him that she's the ghost of Star Wars "Proper". She then drives Kylo Ren around showing him all the scenarios where he wins the duel in TFA like he was "supposed to" and he realises that in each of these stories he's a uninspired cliche. He sees his defeat was not in vain and acknowledges that no man's story is uninteresting if it doesn't repeat the same old thing we've seen umpteen times before.

 

The opening of Last Jedi is Luke making eye contact with Rey, looking at the lightsaber she's holding out, back to Rey, then he goes "HEY! LOOK OVER THERE!" and she turns her head and he immediately runs away. It's about 2 and a half hours of that.

 

EP VIII wil lbe the first Star Wars movie to change the formula. Now the intro will be done by live actors, while all the rest will be just a scroll of text.

Rise of Skywalker is literally about Luke and Anakin's Force Ghosts having "who can float higher" competitions.

 

Rey and Kylo Ren spend the entirety of TRoS in the elevator on what's left of the Supremacy, heading upwards to the throne room and arguing vociferously over which one of them is the "real" Skywalker.

I think the next step for the Star Wars Universe is a good Buddy Cop Comedy, involving Finn and Poe. Two crimefighters, going from planet to planet solving murders and other assorted crimes.

 

There is going to be mutated flying pizzas. You ever notice why the Star Destroyers look like pizzas ? Well, we find out in Rise of Skywalker that the Star Destroyers are actually mutated pizzas. Emperor Palpatine and his Force ability to mutate pizzas to Star Destroyers is going to be the big twist. You can bet a slice of pizza on it.
