Starting this day off (have had split days off for the past 2-weeks, and it's going to continue for at least another) with leftover chicken & shrimp, which has been niiiiice. Hoping for a Dodger win today, because having back-to-back wins on my birthday would be just be the best thing.

Besties, I just heard back from HR and they agreed to my doctor's plan to have me work from the office until lunch then to go home and work from there in the afternoon! I start the schedule next week.

My boss has to be pissed. She didn't want to give me any accomodation and was completely unsympathetic whenever I talked to her about my disability. But obviously HR disgareed.

Hbd Armen! I'm sorry that I'm rooting for the Brewers this post-season, but I'll go ahead and root for the Dodgers just tonight so you have a good bday

Thanks for the well-wishes and support about my HR issue guys. It means a lot, especially when my boss was so unsupportive. I secretly hope HR smacked her down for originally telling me that they couldn't let me work from home part of the time. I even told her about my disability and she flat out said no. So I hope they told her never to do that again, because that was clearly BS.

@Boba Nekhbet I love Amy's bean and cheese burritos and did not know they had tamales. That sounds like something I'll have to try!

So I said a couple months back I was going on a date for the first time in ages. Things didn't work out in the end there. She was a teacher for a secondary school, and she said that she just didn't have the time to date seriously with the start of the new school year, so we ended up parting ways rather amicably.

I went back to the dating apps, and things were quiet for a while. So on Friday I decided to go back to the drawing board and overhaul my profile. I changed my photos and made the first line of my personal summary "Just a humble servant spreading the gospel of our true lord and saviour: Nicolas Cage." After the change up I've received about thirty likes, and tonight I've traded phone numbers with an equally eccentric, geeky girl and we've been talking for hours.

So while this weekend we've all been praising the glorious Satan, I want to take a moment to thank the true messiah.
