The Porgs massacre the ewoks.

 

Chewbacca will get over his initial guilt and join the ewoks at a big feast of fire-roasted porg.

 

Chewie and the Ewoks spit-roasting some less-cute-than-Porgs animal over an open fire in Rian's would be awesome (can't for the life of me think of why Chewie & Ewoks would be in it, but hey, making sense is for sissies!).

Nobody else in the main gang seems to appreciate good barbeque, he might as well break bread with the vicious little teddybear buggers.

 

Porgs would overwhelm them with sheer numbers. With enough resources, Porgs can double their population every 44 days. Can a single Ewok take on 61 Porgs? Because that's the kind of numbers they'd be going up against.

If the porgs have to waddle and hop around a forest, over branches and fallen trees they will be at a severe disadvantage. If the battle is at sea, well I don’t know how good the Ewoks’ boat making skills are lol?

It took the Porgs 26 hours to seize control of the Millennium Falcon. Chewbacca is no match for a motivated and determined murder of Porgs.

I think this trilogy is not happening. There is no reason for Disney to bring back the most hated SW director. It doesn't even matter if TLJ deserves that much hate. What matters is that it is controversial and I don't think they need that at all.

 

This is an interesting thought. But where do you stand on the great Porg vs Ewok debate?

It's not a controversial release internally. They made their bank, they reached a positive critical consensus, they had a hassle-free time with the director and enjoyed working with him.

Nah, Lucasfilm/Disney doesn't need any more of that.

Iger added at the time: "We have not announced any specific plans for movies thereafter. There are movies in development, but we have not announced them."

 

I think that's buisniess talk. I rian going to make his trilgoy but he'll take his own time like Lucas did. I more worry about Dave and Weiss movies.

Forget the Porgs- Gungans vs Ewoks: Battle for the Ages is the movie to make.

The latest article about Rian clearly stated that it is in "an unexplored part of the GFFA," with all new characters. This is more clear than ever that it may be totally unconnected to the saga, and we may not even have any sense of chronology in relation to the saga, which is awesome. Something totally different that will be judged on its own terms. Rian really needs his own SW thing- not a situation where he is partially being himself as a movie maker and partially trying to stick with a premade saga. I can't wait to see what he comes up with.
