    I haven’t finished it but I’ve loved what I have. Way more than Lion Guard, which is nonetheless good fun.

    I just finished the Tangled series the other night and loved it.

    I had started an artwork inspired by it for an art challenge though I haven’t had a chance to finish it with all that has been going on. Maybe sometime soon, I will.

    When I first joined in 07... I tried to find other SW-based RPing sites and found a few but they seemed very close knit and very formal to enter. I never really got the hang of them and none of them gave me what this place gives me.

    Actually we got quite a few people on these boards who you find elsewhere, but usually they are on other sites for the NON-STAR WARS stuff.

    This, that last line especially.

    There's one other site that I check out on occasion, but I'm really not keen on how they run their games. The GM essentially sets them up, recruits players, and then hands the reins over to said players to tell the story. They do none of the heavy lifting themselves – it's a free-for-all. Needless to say, games don't last very long around there. A couple of weeks at the max? I found myself not wanting to put any effort into creating a character and posting when I know the games won't last beyond a few opening posts.

    That's certainly not a problem we have around here. ;) The GMs here are also very heavily involved and engage with you to tell their stories, which is what I love.

    Thanks all. I have to say research so far has brought me to a similar opinion - too many rules (usually involving how to whack other players - which is a bit intimidating) or too sandboxy- “just choose a planet and write your story” (until another player comes and kills you.) so I’m not really tempted.

    Funnily enough Fins/Sinre, it’s a particular kind of SW game I’m looking for...

    Also, Grey, Reynar - I feel as if I should open an RPR thread to discuss/hype up/write trailers for the FF game in advance. Thoughts?

    PS - why THAT spelling of Reynar? I spell it Raynar (because of Star Wars and one of my favourite YJK/NJO/Legacy era characters) and it’s very hard to remember your spelling after an espresso martini or two...
